Alone time

This is a bit if a boring chapter but I hope you like 😘

~Ian's pov~

The only reason I decided to go to the park to eat was because I would get to spend some quality with the love of my life.

I remove my arm from around her shoulder and entwine our fingers so that we are now walking hand in hand. Everything in the world feels right.

It feels amazing just being with her and being able to call her mine, I don't even care who sees us or what people think. She is here with me and that's all that matters.

After a short 10 minute walk we finally reach the park and luckily for us it's empty which isn't surprising,  it's only 9am on a week day. We find the bench with the least amount of bird poo and sit down to finally eat.

Nina grabs her food and passes me mine. I watch her as she takes a bite into her hot cakes. I hear her let out a moan of satisfaction.

"Is it good?" I ask

"No actually they taste disgusting but it's food so we are  happy" she exclaims while rubbing her tummy showing she was referring to her stomach.

I can't help myself but laugh and neither could she which makes us laugh even more.

We exchange light conversation until she asked a serious question that go me thinking.

"Ian when are we going to start telling people about us. I mean I know why we are not, I don't want people constantly up in our face about it but I love to share the good things in my life and well you are the best thing in my life" she said looking quite sad about it which made me feel guilty about making her keep a secret she obviously really wants to share.

"Okay, how about we tell our friends all at once like at some kind of celebration everyone will be at?" I said trying to think of an upcoming event everyone may be at

"Oh I know! The 100th episode I volunteered to host it at my place, all the cast will be there, I can invite Julianne and you can invite anyone else you may want to tell, it's perfect" she said, I could tell she was very satisfied with the idea. I'm not to excited to tell people but we still have a few weeks till the party so that means a few weeks that I can spend with the love of my life in private.

"Okay nina do you want to go now we can't avoid work for ever?" I say looking straight at her into her brown doe eyes, why did I just say I don't want to go, I want to stay here in this position looking right into her eyes forever. No ian snap out if it. You love your work to, you can look at Nina's beautiful, glowing..... Stop it ian focus.

"Yes your right I think it's time to go, I just remembered I have heaps of work to do today." She says in a slight worried tone.

We chucked all our rubbish in the bin a walked back to the car. We both got into the car and began driving to the tvd set.

"Are you okay babe?" I asked politely she was suspiciously quiet.

"Umm yes of course" she answered

"I know we didn't get to spend a lot of time together" I tried to explain not realising the sadness my voice.

"Hey no ian, don't be sad! I got to spend my morning with the most amazing man in the world, I know we have work this week and were going to be busy but we are going to make time for each other this is going to work. I'm just glad I got to have some alone time with the love of my life" she said so sweetly and automatically made me feel 100% happier

"I love you so much you have no idea" I said

She looked at me and smiled her gorgeous glowing smile that could light up a whole room.

"Neens where almost at the set and before we get bombarded with everyone as to why we are late I was wondering are you free tonight maybe we could get some dinner or I can cook my special pasta" I say and wiggle my eyebrows to try to convince her

"Ohh yum babe I love your special pasta.... But I can't I have dinner plans tonight but I'm free tomorrow night?"

"Okay tomorrow night it is!" I say "But um who are you going out with tonight?" I ask very curious, I mean she is saying no to my erasistable pasta so this person must me important

"Oh just an old friend coming into town for the weekend, you wouldn't know her" she says reassuringly
