Chapter 1

I jolted awake to the sound of howls not to far away from me. The scent of wolves invaded my nose and my fur stood up on end. My ears perked up when I heard feet running in my direction.

I got up quickly and ran the opposite direction from my chasers and sped up when I heard an even louder howl. I jump over a root and kept running.

I ran till I stumbled onto a track. A track that means a city was near by I could hide there if I made it in time. The thought ran through my brain and I took it instantly and ran along the track.

As I ran I heard cracking leaves and at the corners of my eyes two wolves were running next to me in the trees. I kept running but was stopped when a gray wolf with green eyes jumped in front of me and stopped me in my tracks. I skated on the floor as I came to a stop then turned around then ran the opposite direction. But a brown wolf came and blocked my path. I turned a different direction and was also blocked by another brown wolf ,turning to my last direction to get away I felt something heavy jumped onto my back and bite my neck.

I yelp in fear and pain as I hit onto the floor with an unknown weight onto top of me. I heard a low growl on top of me and that triggered something in me that told me that I was going to die.

I scratched and struggled to get away from the wolf on top of until I heard a low and deep voice on top of me.“Stay still!” The voice demanded loudly. I yelped and stayed still, with that I felt the teeth on my neck loosen and let go. I still couldn't move with the wolf on top of me, but I was going to try and move but then I heard something that stopped me in my tracks.

“Good mate.”

The voice was seductive and deep when I heard it. What did he call me? I thought and was starting to get scared. He got off of me and let me turn and see him. I lifted my eyes to see night black fur and two blood red eyes burning into my skull. The alpha oh no. I thought as I looked at him proudly held his head high as the rest of his pack had there heads bowed in respect. I felt my tail curled between my legs as I slowly backed away in fear.“Shift for me mate.” He saw in a deep soothing voice as he stepped forward. Shift why did he wanted me to shift? I looked at him confused and then he yelled at me.“Shift I said!!” I yelped loudly as his voice sounded like thunder in my head.

As he saw I wasn't going to shift easily he sighed and howled. I watched as his body started to crack and shift into a tall looking man. Then after he took shape of the man his night black fur fell off revealing a man with tan coloured skin with night black hair and freshly cut bear. He had a well toned eight pack abs on his abdomen, also a well tone chest, shoulders, arms and legs. He had strong cheek bones, a sharp jawline, a round nose and light red eyes.

My heart skipped a beat as I looked up at him. My eyes looked down at his huge junk and I gulped.“See I shift now you shift I won't hurt you.” He said reassuringly. I looked at him for a while till I trusted his words. I yelp in pain as my bones cracked and shifted into place as I took my human form. My body was revealed after my fur fell off my body and landed on the floor. I had a well tone six pack, chest, arms, shoulders and legs. My junk wasn't as big as his or was my face was as strong looking as his or was I as big as him but I was as well toned as him and I was proud of that. I had dark brown hair and still had my light blue eyes.

I heard a low lustful growl come from the alpha's throat as he checked me out. I was going to say something but then the alpha walked up to me and grabbed my waist and pulled me into him and crashed his lips into mine roughly. My eyes widen and I stiffened and my eyes went in contact with his and he stared at me lustfully with his light red eyes. Then my body gave in to his and I kissed him back. I didn't know this guy why am I kissing him and why is he kissing me and not killing me?

While my thoughts were contemplating on the situation he licked my bottom lip asking for entrance into my mouth which I hesitantly gave him. I felt his warm tongue enter my mouth and explored it, and it tasted like fresh blood. Did he kill something?

My body heated up to the passionate kiss and my face start to get colour as our tongues fought for dominants which his tongue had obviously won. I heard the lustful growl again as he pulled away with a string of saliva connecting our tongues. He made a low chuckle.“Seems someone got a little excited.” He said motioning his chin downwards. I then realized what he meant and blush madly.

I didn't even realize that I got hard by that.“What is your name?” He asked in a gentle, deep and raspy voice. My lips parted and the words left my mouth in a stutter.“I-I'm K-Kevin.” I said. He smirked and looked deep in my eyes.“My name is Travis and I'm the Alpha of the Ravinol pack and you Kevin are my mate.” He said in a deep claiming voice.

My eyes widen to the words he just said. I have a mate? And he is hot as fuck and he's an Alpha Omg something is wrong here. My thoughts ran through my brain as I looked him in the face panting a bit.“Do you accept my proposal and wish to do the ritual of mates?” He asked in a deep and seductive voice snapping my out of my thoughts.

Ritual?! Already oh my what should I say? I thought for a bit and was silent for a good while till his voice snapped me out of my thoughts again.“Do you?” He asked sounding hurt a bit.

He's hurt? He really wants me to be his mate? I looked him in the eyes then nodded.

His eyes widened a bit in shock.“You do?” He asked with a little chip in his voice. I nodded again. He smirked and kissed me once more. He pulled away and grabbed my hand and raised it up.“I FOUND MY MATE!” He yelled loudly to his pack. The wolves howled in cheer and some got up on there hind legs and rubbed the noses with their front paws in appreciation. While the cheer of the wolves grew Travis looked at me.“Come with me to my home and that's where we'll do the ritual.” He said smiling a bit. I nodded and smiled back but not that I was scared but that I found someone who actually cared for me.
