Chapter 4

I looked up at Travis in silence as his night black fur swayed in the wind and his blood red eyes looking down into mine. Why was he doing this? We just met and he just found out why I'm a rouge and want to kill the one who made me this way this quickly?!

“But why?” I asked with a confused tone behind my words. The same confusion spread across Travis' face as he processed what I just asked.“Why?!” He's voice rose a bit in the intensity of the situation.“You are my mate and I can't live with knowing a selfish bastard is still living with the family he took away from your. That's why.” He said while taking a step forward and hovering over me.

Rage filled me at this point. This idiot is only thinking about me as his mate and not thinking about himself dying in the process. Something in me kind of snap when he said that.“Just because I'm your mate?!” I raised my tone and realizing a surprised looked shot onto Travis' face for a split second before he covered it with a stern look. “What about you you idiot what if you die and he takes your pack and me and instead of making me a rouge he would rape me or even kill me!” I basically shouted at him and noticed that the other wolves were staring at us.“And not only will I be killed or rape but I would be losing a person that finally cares for me and I would just be devastated!” I snarled at him stepping forward and snout to snout with him with a face full of rage.

There was silence hovering over us as the other pack members stared at us intently waiting to see what else was going to happen. Then out of no where I finally heard Travis' voice.“Raven! Cane! Take my mate into our home and keep him there till I return!” He shouted before whipping around and walking away. I was going to chase after him before two big wolves stepped in front of me and looked down at me.“Move.” I growled to them. One was the grey one with green eyes and the other was brown and had blue eyes.

“No we're taking you home.” The grey one said sternly. Rage filled my body at how he was treating me at this point.“I am your Alpha Omega and you have to listen to me.” I said stepping up to them then realizing that I might've grown last night because I was basically looking down at them snarling. One of them looked like fear was getting the best of him but the other just looked back up at me with a blank expression.

“Yea we do but the Alpha's order over rules yours.” She said looking dead in my eyes. A shiver of fear ran down my back, I wasn't scared at what she said I was scared at how she said it. There was no emotion behind he voice none what so ever it sounded like when you talk to a wall and it replies but its not you echo that you heard. But soon after the rage filled my body again and I was about to pounce onto the wolf until I felt something hit the back of my neck hard and everything started to spin and my legs failed to work and I fell right into someone's familiar arms, then everything started to go black but before I could black out I heard a familiar voice that slid into my ears.“I'm sorry.” The voice said and with that everything went dark and the only thing left was me and my thoughts.

Travis..

My eyes opened and the light of a dim lamp filled them hurting them a bit making me flinch and hiss in pain. I rolled over to get the light out of my eyes trying to see where I was. I look up at the wooden ceiling and then looked around the room which was familiar to me. It was Travis' room. I sat up quickly as my memories rushed in about what was happening.“No,no, no, no!” I yelled as I shot out of bed and ran to the door and grabbed the doorknob to open the door but instead I found out that it was locked tight. I shook it fiercely but it stood it's ground, I banged on it roughly making it shake a bit.“Let me out I need to stop Travis.” I yelled loudly. But no one replied but I knew someone was on the other end making sure I didn't leave. I growled and ran to the windows which were nailed shut I snarled when I realised and punched the window hard which seem to shake the whole house as well. Hot streams of tears ran down my face as I fell to the ground and heard a weird thud when I fell I but ignored it as I cried.

This is all my fault I'm going to lose my mate my knew pack and my new life because I'm a fucking cry baby. I sat there crying for a good moment before I realised something and my head shot up. Weird thud? I looked down at the carpet that I was kneeling on and punched it. I heard the thud but then it echoed a bit. Echo? That means that this floorboard was hallow. I rushed off the carpet and rip it up and knocked the floorboards to find the right spot. After two knocks I found the hallow floorboards and whimpered in excitement and grew my claws then start to claw open the floorboards.

As the last floorboard was gone I looked down the hole seeing rocks and dirt below. I shifted and jumped through the hole and ducked down and crawled a bit to see where I was. But then I realised I was under the house when I saw a hole at the side which I crawled out and saw the woods and grass swaying in the wind.

I had to find Travis and quick. I shot my snout down and sniffed around searching for his scent. I sniffed till I got that scent of fresh blood and rose pedals floating in the air by my snout. I whimpered as I caught it and followed it to where ever it lead. I ran fast along the scent it was the fastest I've ran in my whole life and I knew that if I slowed down that something bad was going to happen to Travis. I ran over roots, small streams, boulders and even little opening in the ground following his scent.

Till I finally found where his scent lead to I looked up a hill where there was a fire pit which was lit brightly and a few familiar wooden houses surrounding it. And as I looked at the houses my feet made me run up that hill knowing that's where Travis was and I needed to save him. While I ran an old and familiar scent hit my nose which made me run even faster knowing what was happening.

I heard a loud yelp which made my heart skip a beat and kicked some speed in my feet. I ran till I got to the top of the hill and saw Travis walking proudly and Frey ducking down with his tail between his legs. Wolves started to cheer with howls as what seemed to be that Travis won the fight. My body relaxed a bit that he won and didn't die.

But through the howls and cheer a glimpse of light hit my eyes. This wasn't a normal light it was the light that is given off when its being reflected off something. I looked to where the light was coming from and saw Frey in human form with a dagger in his hand shining from light of the flame and he was sneaking his way through the crowd towards Travis.

I waisted no time I started to run wanting to call out for Travis but the words didn't want to leave my throat. As I got closer to Travis so did Frey he was now a few inches away from Travis holding up the knife that he used to kill my father ready to swing it down into Travis. I was just a few inches away panicking of what was going to happen and how would stop it. But then when I thought all was lost, a thought popped in my head knowing it was suicide I still had to do it. I didn't want this bastard to take over anymore packs and treat them badly anymore I was weak back then but not now. I couldn't let him make everyone's life a miserable hell. I couldn't let him be with my mom no more. I couldn't let him kill Travis. My beloved mate.

I jumped in between the dagger and Travis before it could puncture his flesh. But then I felt an agonizing pain hit my side and it ran through my body making me yelp loudly and I landed hard onto the ground and everything around me turn black instantly. Leaving me in pure darkness.

Forever...
