Backstory: Calypso is born to Emmeline O'Hara and Castor Brooks. Her life before she was 5 was pretty boring, but she was pretty bright for her age. Her parents were good friends with Emma Blackthorn and Daniel 'Dan' Granger. So, naturally, Calypso is best friends with Hermione. She stood up to people who bullied her, and the two of them formed a close friendship. 

When she was 5, she met the last person you will expect her to meet. She met Draco Malfoy. She was sitting on the swing near her house when Draco Malfoy came up with his parents and sat on the swing next to her. They started a conservation, and something bloomed that day. She didn't know whether his parents approved their friendship, but since he keeps on coming, she assumes they approve. They do approve of their friendship.

From that day onwards, she, Draco and Hermione became close friends and a small trio. They will willingly die for each other, even if they didn't realise it yet. A few years later, another person joined their trio. [Insert name of OC] was magical too. From then, the trio became a squad. The Platinum Squad, to be exact. Draco and [Insert name of OC] told them about magic when Hermione and Calypso showed signs of magic. So as the years past, they grew closer than ever. 

She received her Hogwarts letter, and armed with her best friends, they prepare to take Hogwarts by storm as the next generation of Marauders. 

Personality

Boggart: Her parents and best friends dying, and her not able to do anything about it, or being the one who killed them. 

Personality: Calypso is an intelligent young girl, and is often found buried under books. She is tied with Hermione for brightest witch of her generation. Calypso is rather easy-going when you get to know her well, but on a stranger's first impression, she's just a shy and quiet girl, nose always in a book. Calypso is also very hardworking, though not the best at keeping this neat. She is an extremely messy person, as her room at home can be told. The only thing she ever bothered to keep neat is her desk, as she cannot stand messy things when she's studying. Being sorted into Slytherin, Calypso is also very cunning, always using subtle and sly methods to help her friends out. She's also very loyal and kind, willing to do underhanded things to help a friend in need. However, she also has a sense of self-preservation as well. Calypso is one of the most ambitious people you can meet, as you can see from her determination, or most probably, her stubbornness. Tripping over her own feet and crashing into things by complete accident, she is very clumsy. She is also fairly absent-minded, putting things down one moment and forgetting where she put it mere moments later. The only few things she can remember and never forget other than her family and friends are her studies, homework, and Quidditch.

Occupation: She dreams to be a professor someday, but currently she's aiming to be Head Girl.
