"Good morning nene," I smiled as a sleepy Ryan opened his eyes to look up at me. I'd just finished getting ready for the meeting Trish had set up for me with her lawyer friend and after discussing with my parents, they thought it would be a good idea to take Ryan with me so he'd kind of get a better understanding of what was going to happen.

"Morning momma," Ryan yawned.

"Did you sleep well my angel," I wondered.

"Yes," he nodded with a smile. "I had a dream we was in Disney World. Me, you and papa!

"Oh really? That sounds like a lot of fun. Maybe next time we come back, we can take a little vacation to Disney World," I proposed and Ryan beamed.

"Please, lets go!"

"We'll work on it," I chuckled at his enthusiasm. "It's time to get ready now buddy."

"Oh yeah," he nodded as he sat up. "Is this lady a nice lady momma?"

"I'm sure she is, she's friends with Zayn's mommy. She's going to help us so she's probably very nice."

"She's gonna make daddy stay away?"

"I'm not sure what she's gonna think about everything papo, I don't know what she's going to do. We'll see," I smiled halfheartedly.

"Okay momma. Where's papa?" Ryan asked as he looked over at the other empty bed.

"He's getting some breakfast, he should be back by the time you finish showering so get to it mister," I patted Ryan's butt lightly and he laughed before skipping off to the bathroom.

I was going to miss him terribly and the uncertain future after today made me worry. Although speaking to this lawyer was supposed to help me relax, I felt more anxious than ever. To distract myself, I decided to finish packing up Ryan's bag and separate some comfortable clothes for his trip back home. A few minutes in, I heard a knock at the door and opened it to find Zayn with a lap full of to-go containers and a hand occupied with a cup holder.

"I couldn't reach into my pocket for the key," he smirked.

"You made it all this way though, thanks love," I smiled and took the cup holder from his hand.

"Where's breadstick?" Zayn wondered as he noticed the empty bed.

"In the..shower..did you hear that?" I tilted my head as I placed the cup holder down on the small coffee table.

"Hear what?" Zayn furrowed his eyebrows.

"Sounded like a small bump or something."

"Mommy!" As soon as I heard Ryan calling me, the noise I thought I heard was confirmed. I walked in the bathroom quickly and saw Ryan sitting in the tub with blood coming from his eyebrow.

"What happened papo?" I grabbed a few tissues from the counter and shut the bath water off. I pressed the tissues to his head to absorb some of the blood.

"I-I was almost done but I slipped on the soap," Ryan cried as pointed to the green bar of soap at the other side of the tub. "I hit my head on that," he pointed to the metal spout.

"Let me see," I lifted the tissues momentarily to check the wound and the cut wasn't deep thankfully. "It's not too bad Ry, it should be okay. Come on mommy will help you get dry and get dressed. Hold this," I placed his hand on the paper and stood to grab a towel for him.

"Is he okay?" Zayn wondered from the door way. I hadn't noticed he was there but of course he would be.

"Yeah, it doesn't look like he needs stitches. He probably got scared more than anything," I answered as I wrapped Ryan in the towel and carried him out of the tub.
