Do people actually like this story?

I put it up on fanfiction and to say it is getting negative reviews is an understatement a lot of people aren't keen on Riley and Maya not being friends. I get they are best of friends in the show but isn't it good to have a little different? I personally like reading book where it is. Teenage girls aren't always best friends and to think there would be no arguments is ridiculous no friendship is that perfect. A lot of friendships end because people like the same person..

Anyway I was just wondering if I should continue or not?
