Chapter Seventeen

"Maya we need to get up"

"Hmm five more minutes" she snuggled herself into the side of Josh. She knew if she put herself in the right position she called talk him into that extra time.

"Nope, Farkle will be here in like ten minutes didn't you want to tell him yourself rather than him walking in on us"

"Argh fine, you are so annoying in the morning"

They both got up and began to make breakfast. Farkle has messaged her saying he was down the street. He had planned to try and make Maya see her feelings for Josh but he had no idea what he was about to witness that weekend. Knocking on the door Maya turned to it and just froze. She was nervous he was going to be the first one to find out about her new relationship. She knew Farkle liked Josh but that was when they were just friends.

Josh decided to go over to let Farkle in. Maya was dishing up breakfast. Farkle shook Josh's hand and greeted him. Maya ran over and jumped straight into his arms. They had been close friends over the years but since she had decided to cut off all ties with Riley Farkle had become her best friend. Being so far away she really missed him and FaceTime was the only way they had communicated for eight months. They sat around the table for breakfast. Maya and Josh on one side and Farkle on the other. It didn't take long for Farkle to realise the looks they were giving each other. After them all catching up Farkle decided to go and get ready to meet up with some of his family that afternoon. Josh had put his stuff up in his room but Farkle was under the impression that he would be sleeping on the couch. Farkle left and they thought he was going to be a few hours. They were wrong.

"Argh that was so hard. How am I going to tell him"

"Maya it's not that hard he is going to be happy for you. Now we have a few hours before he gets home so how about we make the most of it"

Maya smirked. She knew exactly what he was talking about. In the last week they had found it hard to keep their hands to themselves. He began to kiss Maya's neck and he knew she would give in straight away.

"Alright, alright I guess we have time"

Maya and Josh made their way to her room. Throwing clothes all over the place. Josh worshipped every part of her body. They were about to to finish when Farkle walked into her door.

"Oh god Maya, could you maybe have locked the door"

"You could have knocked"

Josh laid there laughing. Farkle hadn't seen him as Maya was on top of him. He slammed the door and Maya face was bright red.

"Yeah it's okay for you to laugh Josh your best friend of the opposite sex didn't see you naked or witness you having sex"

"Oh come on Maya we are all adults, do you think he saw me?"

"Definitely not he would of said something. We better get dressed and sort this out"

They both quickly threw on their clothes and Maya walked out first to see a horrified Farkle.

"Seriously Maya I told you not to close off your heart but I didn't need to witness that. I though you liked.."

He was interrupted but Josh walking out of the room and all Farkle could do was smile.

"I told you he liked you and he wasn't a one night stand kind of guy. Whats been going on?"

"Well Farkle this is my boyfriend Josh. We were going to tell you"

"Yeah unfortunately, can you please lock the door next time. I don't think I need to remind you Josh, I am her best friend and if you hurt her, I will hurt you"
