New Girl

Chapter two

As soon as Emma walked into to school the next day Alex and Hayden ran up to her all excited.
"What," Emma said w| smile.
"Rumor has it that," Alex started.
"Omg Ryan's going to ask you out!!!" But Hayden finished.
"Who's Ryan?" Emma asked them.
"There," Hayden pointed to a tall dirty blonde football player. He had dark brown eyes. All his friends were huddled around him and talking, LOUD. He glanced over at Emma and she gave a little shy wave and a slight smile.
     "What if I say no," Hayden and Alex both gasped.
     "You can't," Hayden exclaimed.
      "Why?"
     "Because Ryan is perfect. Please Emma.  Just try."
      "Fine I'll try. But if it doesn't work out don't get all upset."
      "Oh trust me you two are getting married," Hayden said and they all started to laugh. Emma had been at this school not even three day and she was already hanging out w| the most popular girl in school, crushing on the school player, and being asked out by the school Romeo. People say high school isn't easy but it comes pretty easily to Emma. She's smart and pretty what else can she do? The bell rang and Emma had to get to science. She walked into the room and sat next to Adam.
"Ello Emma," he said with an upbeat British accent.
"Oh, are we British know?" She said laughing.
"Just for today. It was a bet for $20 that I couldn't keep it up the whole day. I intend to win."
"I'm sure you do." They both started laughing.
"Ok. Class let's get started. Today you will do a project on genes with the partner next to you. For this project you will make a baby!"
"Sweet! Sex for homework," one of the boys yelled out.
"No Mikey. No sex. At least none I'm assigning," she said and everyone started laughing.
"This will be the only day to work on it in school it's due next week. You will compare each of your genes and make a spawn. Then you will put it into the computer and make a baby. Make sure you use the dominate genes."
Emma and Adam were both excited about this project. Adam and Justin had this chart to see who could pick up more new girls by the end of high school. Adam saw this as a chance to get some points. Emma saw this as a chance to get to know Adam more.
"Wanna work at your house tonight," he said.
"Yeah ok," She responded. The bel rang and Emma picked up her stuff and walked out.
Emma, Hayden and Alex were all eating lunch when Ryan walked up to the table.
" we'll leave," Hayden said and got up and left.
"Hey Emma are you free tonight?"
"Oh I'm so sorry but I'm actually not."
"Um what are you doing," he asked surprised.
"Well if you must know I'm working on my science project w| Adam. But I'm totally free tomorrow!"
"Ok. Just be careful w| Adam."
"I will be," she smiled and he left.
