Emma and Adam walked to the principals office.
"Thank you," she managed to say.
"I have to ask though. Are you uh wow this is kinda hard to say," she murmured.
"What Emma?" He asked kind of annoyed almost.
"Are you only doing this, ya know being nice and standing up for me to get points?" She asked. He grabbed her wrist and turned her to face him. He looked upset. Ouch, Emma thought. He grabbed her waist sending shivers down her body and he pulled her in and kissed her. Emma right away filled with anger. She pushed him away and fire filled her eyes.
"So it was all for the points," she yelled.
"Emma I wasn't nice for the points. I was only being a good person. Yes the reason I wanted to work at your house was to possibly get some points but I just ruined that chance."
"What do you mean you kissed me?"
"Exactly the rule is the new girl has to make the first move. If I make the first move than it's over I can never ever gain points with you."
"Was that supposed to make me feel happy or special?" She asked.
"This isn't an arcade game Adam," she paused.
"Girls shouldn't be worth points," Emma said as she fiercely turned around and walked into the principals office. She's only been in here once before to get her schedule. It smelled like old lady and peppermint. It had green painted walls and a big brown desk and brown leather chair. Then in front of the desk sat two black plastic chairs.
This room could use some serious redecorating, thought Emma.
They sat down in the two black chairs and Dr. Rider their principal came in and sat in her big brown leather chair.
"Are you two pleased with yourselves?" She asked in a stern voice.
"Oh indeed I'm just not pleased with this school," Adam responded in his usual snarky voice.
The principal started babbling on about listening and not back talking teachers and how to keep your private life separate from school. But Emma for once wasn't really listening. She couldn't stop thinking about that kiss. Why would he do that? He gave up a chance to get points. Not that I would give him any anyway but still. She thought.
Emma and Adam were very different. She was a nice and well brought up girl. And he was just the average teen age fuck boy who's parents didn't care one bit.
"Adam I would expect this of you, but Emma I'm very disappointed."
"I know miss I'm so sorry." She said with a frowned face. Emma had just lied to a principal for the first time. She wasn't sorry not one bit. She was proud of herself for standing up for herself and Adam. She was also proud of Adam she didn't think they did anything wrong.
"I'll be calling both of your parents to come and get you."
"Good luck trying to get a hold of my parents let alone getting them to come," Adam laughed. He didn't seemed bothered by it at all but something inside of Emma made her feel bad for him. And her feeling anything for him even this was dangerous and she knew it.
