Matt's POV

Life has been crazy for the two of us. The firehouse incident wasn't the best thing. But now Papa Dawson is on our couch. I thought it would be one night but Gabby said till he gets back on his feet. Gabby had to work at Molly's so I came so i out meet he other alderman. But he had to ruin it all for me right there on the spot. 

"Matt."Gabby calls out. 

"You know what I'm staying at Severide's"I walked out. 

Gabby's POV

Once I was at work, I walked into his office. 

"You don't even text me saying your sleeping at Severide's"I said. 

"I don't need to tell you where I'm at."Matt said. 

"Your married. That's what we do. We communicate."I stated. 

"Sorry Lieutenant mind if we take a ride"Hermann came in and asked. 

"Go without me."I left his office and Hermann looked at him. 

Matt's POV 

After the talk with Kelly ,I left to city hall. 

"He doesn't care about his fellow responders."Beckerman was saying. 

"What. I can't be a fellow"Everyone was booing me. 

"I'm a lieutenant in the CFD. Husband, alderman. It's not an easy job for me. That's why I'm handing over my spot to Tamara Jones. "She was shocked. But everyone was cheering. 

We got called to a factory fire. All of truck got there and went in. Kelly and Kanell came in. I called Gabby to come up here and get a victim. I was helping her and the fire was getting bigger. She was having trouble breathing . I called on of the guys to take the victim. Gabby passed out. 

"No come on Gabby."I started to do chest compressions. She still hasn't woke up. 

"Chief, I need somebody up here with me. Gabby passed out."I called in. It can't end like this. IT will never end like this.m
