Chapter Thirty
Tool: I’m bored. Who wants to play a game?
Sasha: What game?
Tool: Hide and seek!
Lex: What are we, five?
Tool: *smirks* In the dark.
Lex: Never mind, I’m down!
Day Day: Babe, I didn’t know you were like that. *winks*
Gennis: Who wants to count?
Monnique: Langston does! *smiles at him*
Langston: You lucky I like you. (to everyone) I’m counting to fifteen. *cuts off lights*
Everyone goes to different places on the bus.
(In the bathroom)
Legacy: Yes! Nobody’s in here!
?: Nigga, get out!
Legacy: Sasha??
Sasha: Yes!
Legacy: Mann, lemme squeeze with you.
Sasha: Urghh, fine!
They squeeze together in the bathtub and move the shower curtain over to cover them.
Legacy’s Thoughts: Sasha’s a lil cutie.
Sasha’s Thoughts: Legacy’s cute. Hmmm…
(In Day Day’s bunk)
Day Day: Nobody will ever look here.
?: Think again.
Day Day: Oh hey, Keke.
Keke: Supp?
Day Day: You mind scooting over a little bit? My butt’s a little exposed.
Keke: *laughs* Nahh, I don’t mind. *scoots over*
Day Day’s Thoughts: Keke smells good.
Keke’s Thoughts: Was Day Day always this nice of a guy?
(In the game room)
Ben J: Whew! Finally alone!
Seven other people: *behind couches and pillows* No you’re not!
Ben J: Damn.
Tool: Bro, get behind a pillow. I hear Langston!
Ben J: Kay. *runs behind a blue couch* Scoot your booty.
Deja: Ok. *scoots over*
Ben J: Oh hey Deja.
Deja: How you know it’s me?
Ben J: Why wouldn’t I?
Thoughts: Did I just say that?? How’d that sound?? She can’t know I have a crush on her!
Deja: I don’t know.
Thoughts: What was that supposed to mean? Probably nothing.
