Rosalynn stared out at the darkness from the carriage, it had been some hours since leon had sent her and their daughter out into the night towards the safety of her coven. She knew her sisters would be happy to see her and their niece, she also knew they would be concerned because they usually came to visit her at the Palace and a unannounced visit was highly irregular for her. Rosalynn looked down to the sleeping babe in her arms re-adjusting the blanket around the stray curly locks of hair that poked out from beneath it's exterior. Her daughter, her pride and joy, her miracle. She looked like an angel sleeping so soundly, she really was such a good babe.

The pregnancy had been a difficult one but through grace they both survived. Rosalynn shivered at the thoughts that stirred in her head. The beninning of her pregnancy had gone fine and there were no issues besides her morning sickness, but as she progressed into her second trimester that was when the problems had begun. She began to suffer low iron in her blood and even her blood count dropped dramatically for a period of a days, these days had been the scariest for her. She had been placed on bed rest for fear of a miscarriage her sisters had come immediately upon hearing word of her condition, the comfort and support from them had been overwhelming. With her sisters by her side she recovered quickly regaining her energy to move about, with her sisters by her side her third trimester went by in a flash and before she knew it they day of birthing had arrived. Rosalynn recalled the day she went into labor with naydia it had been a fall day the air was cool and crisp with the promise of the coming winter. She had been outside enjoying the stroll through her garden admiring the the fall bounty of flowers and herbs she used in her teas, medicinal mixes and potions when her water broke. Luckily her sisters had not been far and had helped her to her chambers she had spent almost a day in labor the pain had been unimaginable she wasn't sure how she ever endured it. Looking back down her precious naydia she knew it had all been worth it.

The carriage came to a slow stop in front of the coven house, Rosalynn studied the outside as she waited for the coachman, nothing had changed on the old house, it was still just as she had remembered. It was a decently sized home built of cobblestone and enchanted forest wood to keep it hidden from anyone not welcomed, it lay far out of the reach of any kingdom on private land that had been owned by their family for ages, she knew they would be safe here for now. The house was still aging with signs of wear and tear giving the house it's dark weathered look. To a stranger it would have seemed scary but to rosalynn she felt a calm peace looking at her childhood home, with its frame hunkered down in the forest like a sleeping giant spilling a warm glow from its shady windows. She braced herself and the sleeping babe in her arms coving naydia with her cloak as she stepped out into the rain towards the house.
