Jeremy was spot on when he said Ally would make my middle school years a living nightmare. Everyone threw insults at me, and cussing me off because I so called insulted Ally. Even the people whom I felt I had grown to be friends with over the year, but the only one that had hurt me the most was Jeremy. He and Ally was leading the whole thing."You pricks! Why don't you go back to your lives and find something actually worth doing. Oh that's right! I'm sorry, none of you have lives. Well maybe you should leave Hayley and I the heck alone and buy some, yours is probably worth a minimum of two dollars and a max of four." Madelyn stated, her hand hanging loosely at her hip. I'd burst out laughing. Madelyn could be seriously scary at some moments, and had never lost an argument. I'm just glad I'm her friend.
"It's not like any of you have lives either!" Shouted someone from the crowd. Spinning around Madelyn glared daggers at the person, an I honestly felt sorry for them. Madelyn was quite intimating. "Maybe so, but at least we have more of a life than you."
Before going to our lockers I turn my head and pointed to Madelyn. "What she said." I giggle.

I stared at the math problem on the bored, solving it quickly. Normally I sucked at math but algebra was one of my strong points. I feel a tap on my shoulder and on instinct I turn around to meet Jeremy's hazel eyes. "Can you help me?" He whispers.
I pause.
If it had been any other situation I would had, if it had been a week ago I would do in a heart beat. But sadly it wasn't. "Sorry I don't work with the enemy." I state with a frown. Confusion morphs onto Jeremy's face. "E-enemy?" He stutters. I nod with a sad smile. "Yes, you."
"Hales, I can't lose you."
I let out an angry laugh, shaking my head. "No, Jeremy. You've already have."
