The Next Morning..

I wake up in a room I don't recgonize.

"Where the hell am I?" I thought to myself. Then I remembered all the events that occured last night. But how did I end up in here? The last thing I remember was crying in Austins lap.

"I must have cried myself to sleep and he carried me back here."  How sweet, but where was Austin now? Where did he sleep?

The sweet aroma of eggs, bacon, and cinnamon rolls wafted in under the crack of the bedroom door. I slowly crawled out of bed and started to head for the door.

"Shit where's my jacket?" I know for a fact I had my jacket on before I fell asleep last night. Oh no. He took it off of me. What if he saw my cuts? Giving up on finding my jacket, I cross my arms over my chest and make my way out to the kitchen. I can hear Austin singing one of his bands songs.

"Don't let the world bring you down, there's always hope for the willing." His voice is so beautiful, I had to stand back in the hallway for a little to listen. I tip toe through the hall and peek my head around the corner. He looks up from the stove to smile at me.

"Good morning. Did you sleep well?" He asks as he continues to cook.

"Yes, very well. I don't even remember falling asleep." I hear him chuckle and he pulls the frying pan off the stove to place the eggs on a plate along with bacon and a cinnamon roll. He turns off the stove, place the plate on the table alongside another one, and pulls a chair out for me. I sit down and he takes the seat next to me.

"Well you fell asleep while curled up on my lap. So I carried you back to my bed, took off your jacket, and covered you up. I slept on the couch. Hayley..." He pauses, looking as if he didn't want to continue. I knew what he was going to ask.

"While getting you into bed last night... I saw your scars. Promise me you'll never harm yourself ever again?" I stare at my plate of food not wanting to eat anymore.

"Promise me, please." I hear the concern in his voice. I sigh and look back up at him and say confidently, "I promise."

                                                                            Austins POV

Hayley and I continue to eat, exchanging laughs and tears throughout the entire meal. I couldn't help but think to myself how beautiful she was: so beautiful yet so damaged. I planned to put her back together, piece by piece, no matter how long it took. After eating, I take her hands and stare into her beautiful blue eyes.

"Hayley, listen. I am never going to let anyone hurt you ever again. I won't even let you hurt yourself. I'm here now and I'm going to keep you safe." I can see the pain in her eyes and it breaks my heart even more. I stand up, bringing her up with me, and pull her into a hug. I soothe her hair and kiss her on the top of her head.

"Now I have to go take a shower. Just find a pair of my sweats in my room and throw those on. Be ready to go once I get out. I'm taking you shopping." I smile at her and she tries to deny my offer, not wanting me to spend any money on her, but I begin skipping back the hallway before she can even open her mouth.

"Austin!" She yells after me, trying to be serious though I can hear her giggling.

"LALALALA. I CAN'T HEAR YOU." I skip into the bathroom and shut the door behind me, still laughing. I undress and turn on the shower.

While showering, all I can think about is her. We live in such a fucked up world. Hayley never deserved anything that happened to her, nobody deserves that shit. I'm glad there's Of Mice and Men, she had mentioned we're what has been keeping her going, and if it weren't for us, I might have not even had the privilege to meet such a wonderful young lady.

I rush through my shower excited to take her shopping. I search for my clean clothes but I had forgotten to even bring clothes in. So I wrap the towel around my waist and walk out.

                                                                                      Hayleys POV

I'm laying on his bed when I hear the bathroom door open. Seconds later, he's standing in the doorway in nothing but a towel and I can't stop staring. He looks like an angel, so perfect. I see him chuckle and I feel my face turn red.

"S-Sorry, I'm not trying to stare." I quickly find something else to look at.

"It's fine dear. I just forgot to bring some clean clothes in." He smiles at me and I smile back. He opens his closet and pulls out a Bring Me The Horizon tank. Then he walks over to his dresser and grabs a pair of boxers and gray sweats. He pulls on the boxers then drops the towel.

"Hayley quit staring!" I hear the voice in my head yell.  But I can't help it, he's just so perfect. He pulls on his sweats and the tank then comes over and swoops me out of the bed.

"C'mon darlin'. We're goin' shoppin'." He laughs a cute little boyish laugh.

"Austin put me down!" I giggle. He throws me over his shoulder and carries me out the door. After locking the door, he places me in the car with a big grin on his face. He climbs in and we take off.

I'm going shopping with Austin fucking Carlile.
