"You wanna dance with me?" I approach her with the drinks, feeling my heart beat rise.

"Okay." she stutters.

A slow dance song begins and I pull her close to me, grabbing her waist with one hand as we interlock fingers, her putting one hand around my neck.

We move slowly to the music. It was "True Love Ways" by Buddy Holly. This was the perfect song.

Just you know why

Why you and I

Will by and by

Know true love ways

Sometimes we'll sigh

Sometimes we'll cry

And we'll know why

Just you and I know true love ways

Throughout the days

Our true love ways

Will bring us joys to share

With those who really care

Sometimes we'll sigh

Sometimes we'll cry

And we'll know why

Just you and I know true love ways

Throughout the days

Our true love ways

Will bring us joys to share

With those who really care

Sometimes we'll sigh

Sometimes we'll cry

And we'll know why

Just you and I know true love ways

We slow dance, which feels like an eternity, and I don't want to lose her embrace. When the song comes to an end, we undo ourselves and walk over to the chairs, without a word.

"I loved that song." Dayana says in awe.

"I do also, Buddy wrote it for his wife."

"Yes, it is so touching, his music reaches our soul." She nods.

We begin talking about whatever comes to our minds. Time goes by so quickly and it is now midnight. awe better get going.

"Let's go, it's pretty late now." I suggest and Dayana nods, beginning to nod

"Okay." she stands up and I do also.

"Are you cold?" I ask as we reach outside.

"Yeah, it's freezing." she shivers.

"Here." I place the jacket on her, feeling the cold skin on her arms. More goosebumps forming while I touch her.

I drive slowly, making every minute with her last forever. I think I like her. I feel something when I'm near her. I'll just have to keep my feelings to myself.

Dayana falls asleep on the car ride. Instead of waking her up, I put my hands under her and begin to carry her. I unlock the door, and open the door of the room is is staying at. I undo the blankets and lay her down gently. I admire her for a minute then close the door behind me.

I walk straight to my room and undress. This night has been amazing. Every second with her makes my heart skip a beat. She is special to me, and I hope I am special to her.
