Maya's POV
It's been a week since Lucas and my friends started college. It is now Saturday and we're hanging out at Riley's.
I knocked on Riley's door and she immediately answered.
"Hey guys, come on in." Riley said. We entered and I sat on the couch.
"How's the pregnancy going?" Farkle asked, coming out from the bathroom.
"Torture. Pure torture." I said.
"What's been happening?" Zay asked.
"You tell them, Ranger Rick." I said.
"The baby basically doesn't like anything Maya eats and the baby makes Maya throw up very early in the morning. Like, way too early." Lucas explained.
"As in 4 o'clock early." I said.
"I'm so sorry, Maya." Riley said.
"Well, I turn four months next week so hopefully it will stop by then." I said.
"Speaking of four months, you find out the gender. You excited?" Farkle asked.
"Yeah. Find out if this baby inside me causing me pain is a boy or girl." I replied.
"We should do those things where we each say a boy and girl name and the parents of the baby write them down and they decide which one they like the best out of the boy and girl names." Zay said.
AN: That's probably the most Zay said in any of my fanfics.
"Good idea, Zay." Lucas said.
"I'll start." I said. Riley hands me a notebook and a pen.
"Ok. For a boy, Toby. For a girl, Hanna." I said.
"Nice ones, Maya. Ok, my turn." Lucas said.
"For a boy, Austin. For a girl, Aria." Lucas said.
"Those are good." I said.
"I can do better." Riley said.
"Tell me yours." I said to Riley.
"For a boy, Mason. For a girl, Emily." Riley said.
"Nice, Riles." I said.
"Ok, my turn. For a boy, Spencer. For a girl, Alison." Farkle said.
"Those are good." I said.
"My turn and these are better than all y'all." Zay said.
"What are you waiting for? Say them." Lucas said.
"For a boy, Caleb. For a girl, Madison." Zay said.
"Those names sound familiar." Lucas said.
It took Lucas a couple of moments to realize where they came from.
"That's what Rebecca was going to name her kids." He said with a big smile.
"Yeah. I decided since Rebecca wasn't going to use them, I'd say them to you." Zay said.
"So which ones are the best?" Riley asked.
"Not saying." I replied.
"Oh, come-" Riley started to say but there was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it." Riley said, getting up.
"Hi, Mrs.Hunter." Riley said.
As soon as I heard that name, I went into shock.
Why's my mom here?
"I'm here to see Maya. I thought she would be here because she's always here." My mom said.
"Hi mom." I said.
"Maya, can I talk to you?" My mom asked.
"Sure. Can you guys leave?" I asked. They immediately left.
"Why are you here?" I asked.
"I came to talk to you about the baby." My mom said.
"More about ruining my life? Don't want to hear it." I said.
"No Maya. I thought about it for a long time and I'm going to accept you back into my family." Mom said.
"Really?!" I asked.
"Yes. A baby is an amazing part of life. And I want to be apart of that amazing part of your life." Mom said. I was silent.
"So what do you say?" Mom asked.
"Yes." I said as I give my mom a hug.
"Yay!" I heard all my friends coming out from the hall and joining the hug.
"Were you guys ease dropping?" I asked.
"No." Lucas, Zay, and Farkle replied.
"Yes. I mean no." Riley said.
"I don't care." I said as we joined in for another group hug.
