New Years

So I was looking at Mr. Bad Boy's crush and we have 1k on the first chapter! I just want to say I love you guys so much! Also I know i skipped Christmas, but I had no inspiration for it.
Maya's POV
Today is December 31st aka New Year's Eve. We're heading over to Riley's house in a couple of minutes.

"Lucas, hurry up! We have to get there before Zay and Isadora!" I yelled.

"Why do we have to get there before them?" Lucas asked.

"To get the biggest slice of New Year's cake. I told you this." I responded.

Riley makes a cake every year for New Year's. Riley said whoever gets to her house first, gets the biggest slice of cake. Lucas and Isadora don't care, but me and Zay do.

"Let's go!" I yelled at him.

"I'm coming." Lucas replied as we walked out the door.

At Riley's house.
"Did we get here before them?" I asked as I entered Riley's apartment.

"You did." She said as she took both of our coats.

"When did we have this cake?" Lucas asked.

"After midnight." Riley replied.

All of a sudden, Zay, Farkle, and Isadora entered Riley's apartment.

"They got here before us!" Zay yelled.

"Yes we did." I replied.

"I told you we shouldn't have taken the traffic route to Isadora's house!" Farkle yelled at Zay.

"Both of you stop yelling! You get a slice of cake either way." Riley said to them.

They both stopped yelling and sat down on the couch.

"What are we doing first?" Isadora asked.

"What time is it?" Riley asked.

"Nine thirty." Lucas replied.

"How about we talk about what we're most excited about in 2018." Riley suggested.

"Sounds good." I replied.

"I'll go first." Riley said. "I'm excited to finish my first year at NYU."

"I'll go." Farkle said. "I'm excited to move in with Riley this summer."

"I'm excited about Lucaya's wedding! Which is also this summer." Zay said, very excited.

"I'm excited about becoming a parent." I said.

"Same here." Lucas said.

"Only two more months. You excited?" Isadora asked.

"I am. But I've gotten so used to being pregnant. I'm going to miss it." I replied.

We continued talking until it was 5 minutes to midnight.

"Come on guys let's go!" I yelled as I walked up the stairs to the rooftop.

I ran to a corner of the rooftop. Lucas was right behind me. He stood right next to me.

"You seem very excited." Lucas said.

"Well this is the first time you're standing next to me for New Years. Since you always go back to Texas for the holidays." I replied.

"Got anything else to say?" Lucas asked.

"It's one minute to midnight and I'm glad you're standing here." I said.

"Me too." He replied.

"Guys, ten seconds to midnight!" Farkle said.

"10!"

"9!"

"8!"

"7!"

"6!"

"5!"

"4!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

I gave Lucas a kiss.

"Happy new year." We both said as we broke the kiss.

We ended the night with some cake.

It was a New Years to remember.
