Birth

Lucas's POV, midnight.
I woke up at midnight to see my blonde beauty not next to me. I heard a noise in the living room so I went to investigate it.

I walked into the living room. I saw Maya, eating mint chocolate chip ice cream while watching Riverdale.

"Maya?" I asked as she turned her head.

"Hi Ranger Rick." Maya greeted.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I can't sleep. Today is my due date. I'm might give birth and then we'll have two babies in our apartment." Maya replied.

"Well, you need sleep. Giving birth is going exhaust you." I said.

"Ok." Maya said as she walked to the bedroom.

"Maya, the ice cream and tv?" I asked.

"You deal with it!" She yelled.

I quickly put away the ice cream, turned off the tv, and went to bed.

Maya's POV
I walked into Central Perk. Everyone was there.

"I'm still pregnant!" I yelled at all of them.

"I see." Riley said.

"Maya, what did you expect? That when you wake up, you would automatically go into labor." Isadora said.

"A little bit. But I don't know, what if I'm late?" I asked.

"Isn't that how this thing started?" Zay joked.

"Do you want me to sit on you? I'll do it." I replied.

"Too soon?" Zay asked.

"Very." Farkle replied. "Maya, you'll probably give birth in 2-4 hours."

"I don't want to be pregnant for another 2-4 hours!" I whined.

I looked at my stomach and yelled, "GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT!"

The five of them exchanged looks. "Let's." Farkle said as they all left Central Perk.

I walked home an hour later. Lucas wasn't home because he was checking out suits with the guys. I don't know why he's getting his suit now. The wedding is not until July.

It was now three thirty. I haven't eaten in three hours. I decided to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. As I got the jelly out, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and I fell to the floor.

I grabbed my phone off the table and quickly called Lucas.

"Lucas, it's time!" I yelled.

"I'm coming!" He yelled back as he hung up.

When he got home, he carried me bridal style into the car. On the way there, Farkle called Riley and Zay called Isadora. They both said they were on their way.

We got to the hospital and the nurse gave me a semi-private room. I would have complained but I was having a contraction.

The doctor came in. "Maya Hart, right?" She asked. I nodded my head.

"Well, it seems like you're only five centimeters dilated." She said.

"Does that mean I can give birth?" I asked.

"No. You have to be ten centimeters dilated." Lucas replied.

I gave him the death glare. He knew how much pain I was in because of these contractions.

"That's stupid." I said.

"Don't worry. You should give birth by at least midnight or before that." The doctor replied.
