The First Group of Freshmen

 Kaylee's (Junior)POV:

It's that day. They've hired me as a "People Greeter," And I have to stand in the front of the school to help freshmen. It's not as hard as I'd thought of it. Maybe I can make some new friends..? Hmm. It's okay for a Junior to be friends with a freshmen... Right? Yeah.

Hmph. No one's showing up. WHY IS THIS DAY GOING SO SLOW!?!?!? Oh. Here comes someone. Hopefully they need more than the bathroom. I've had three people come to me and they've only wanted the bathroom. "Hello! Welcome to Haken!" I said, with the smiliest smile I've had today. She was the prettiest who'd came today. "Uhh.... Hi..." She sounded nervous. "My name is Kaylee. What's yours?" "Uhmm, Ali." Ahh. I'd thought of her as an Ali. "Always remember that you can come to me for help if you need it!" I said. "O-okay.." She said.

-People Greeter

Ali's Pov(Freshmen):

I immediately spun around and started down the hallway, trying to get away from everybody, when I realized I had no idea where I was going. Taking a deep breath, I slowly forced myself to turn around and walk back to Kaylee. She didn't notice me at first, instead she was greeting some other freshmen. I let them talk for a minute. After the kid slid down the hallway, I bounced up to Kaylee and automatically asked, ''Where is classroom 2B?''

Kaylee seemed surprised at first because I just snuck up on her, but then she said ''Oh! Room 2B is on the second floor, first door down the hallway to the right.'' Her smile was so big it scared me a little bit. ''Thanks,'' I said, and then I immediately turned around, not waiting for any kind of response.

Before I went to room 2B, I stopped myself and thought., you forgot, stupid. Get into the gaming club BEFORE going to first period. Sighing, I turned around, got lost for a little bit, and when I finally made it into the club room, the line for the gaming club stretched down the hallway. I contemplating my time for a minute, then sighed again and turned back to go to first period. Well then, I thought. Here comes high school.

-First Day Freshman

Lemon's POV(sophomore):

Geez. I was busy with the gaming club. THE LINE STRETCHED ALL THE WAY DOWN THE HALLWAY!!! Kaylee said something about a friend joining this earlier. I've saved her and Kaylee a spot in the signups. Pa-ting! Ahh! My phone. Kaylee? Thought she was in first period... The text read, "Hey, Have you seen Ali? I haven't seen her since this morning. I don't really think she's interested in being friends, But I'd like to hang out." I made sure that nobody was looking, then slid my phone into my hand. Trying to be as least suspicious as possible, I texted back and said, ''Nope. I think that she did want to join the gaming club, but she's not in the line.''

After waiting for a while, my phone went off again. I took it out to check the text, then noticed that the first person in line was staring at me. He had a mischievous grin. I immediately threw my phone into my pocket and said, ''Welcome to the Gaming Club. Are you interested in joining?'' The kid, he looked like a freshman, responded, ''You have your phone out, too? I thought we weren't allowed to.'' Hmph. I guess he forgot that this was a high school, but, "Yeah. Not while you're in class though. You could get suspended."

???'s POV (Freshman)

Ohhhhhh wow!!! I'm talking to a real sophomore!!! Oh. This is.. This is exciting! I haven't met anyone yet, and I'd thought I'd stay a loner. Well, I guess I do have Isaac... Then I said, "My name's Cody." I wonder how he'll react.. "Cody... Cody... Why does that sound familiar..?" Hmm? "I'm Lemon." Lemon? "Is that like, a nickname..?" I asked. At this point I was kinda shy, but it came out pretty clear in my opinion. "Yeah. All my friends call me that."

I stopped for a minute. Yup. This was him. ''Do you have Skype?'' I asked, trying to contain my excitement. He stopped as well, and seemed to realize. ''Wait, are you actually Cody?'' I nodded. ''Well. That explains the cyan hair. Is Bee here too?'' Somebody behind Cody in the line jumped out. ''LEMON!'' She screamed, and she tried to hug him, but he was behind a desk, so she kinda... Flailed over the desk, knocking over a stack of books and a pencil holder, and then Lemon screamed in horror as he heard the wild female above him. Everybody else in the line began staring and some tried to help.

Bee's POV(Freshmen):

''Sorry! Sorry!'' I said, and I slowly stood up. Everybody. Was staring. At ME. WHY ME. I took my attention away from the crowd and stared at Lemon, who was buried under a pile of books. Why on my first day..... WHY DID I HAVE TO BE SUCH A BUTTFACE?!?!?! Lemon stood up, and brushed himself off. "Bee. Contain yourself choild." He said. I apologized, and looked at the ground. "Where's Kaylee..? Is she here?" "Oh yeah!" He said as if he forgot something. He checked his phone. "Oh, Her first period teacher let her out, so she could help people find their way around school. She'll be here in 5."

At this point I was rather excited, waiting patiently for Kaylee to get here. If only it wasn't 5 minutes. It doesn't sound that hard. To wait... That long.... Just..... Passing the time... La de da. "LEMON!" I screamed. "HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN?!?!?" "Well, for starters, it's only been 2 minutes." He replied. Why does time tick by so slow.
