The End of the Beginning

Kaylee's POV:

To nobody's surprise, the Ranged Warriors won the first round, and a point came up on the scoreboard. We got second place, and it made me pretty mad how we got in second place but didn't get any credit for it.

Round two was going to be harder, I knew it. Apparently round one was just a warmup compared to some of the other games we were going to play. Now we were going to play award winning games. The first game was: Are you ready for this? Rocket League. I almost screamed with happiness when I looked at Ali. But Ali wasn't so sure about it. She always says that she's really bad at it, and has an addiction to the walls.

The thing is, some of the people didn't even know the controls to the game, but the more intense of a gamer you are and the more games you know of, the better advantage you have. We had to explain to the others what to do and what the goal was for Rocket League. Then the game started. Some of the teams didn't even move, others were scoring more than anybody, like the Ranged Warriors. I suddenly hated them.

''Score for the Lime Team!'' said the announcer. ''YES!'' I said. Ali was doing flips off the walls (Probably unintentionally) while Cody, Lemon, and Bee were trying to catch up with the basketball. Guess what... We won this round! It was three to seven. WOO!

The next game was in the horror genre. Ouch. Because apparently they had to have it. The game we played was, oh my gosh, FNAF Sister Location. Whenever you died in the game, your character was out. It was whoever survived the longest. A bunch of people got out on the first challenge where you had to close the door beneath the desk. All of our members managed to get through it because we told each other ''HOLD IT! HOLD IT! DON'T CLICK AWAY!'' On the trek through Ballora's Gallery, Bee died. Only one of us made it through the night four springlock challenge. Cody. Then he died on the Ennard Boss fight. The winner was not the Ranged Warriors- Instead it was a group called the ''Prying Panthers.'' Some of these names, though.

Lemon's POV:

Surprisingly, Cody lasted a while in Sister Location. I thought ali would take us home a win. That's fine. Cody got us third on that game which means, we're still in. There are 13 teams left, and these games are taking forever. "Alright gamers," A guy announced, "You can leave your posts to take a break, and we'll be back after these messages." I walked away, I went to the concession, and got some fried pickles. I am hungry. I haven't eaten anything in forever. Didn't even have breakfast. So when I got back to everyone else, they were like, "CAN I HAVE ONE?!?!?'
