Bee's POV:

The first night was awesome. Everybody stayed up late and we played board games and drank way too much soda. Kaylee got way too hyper and started laughing at everything. It was the best night ever.

We all slept in and had two more days to have fun before the convention started. Lemon offered that we go out to eat instead of eating at the hotel, and we all went to a fast food place. Lemon payed for it, and he said that the last one to finish eating got to pay for it. I didn't want to play along, but I apparently ''had to.'' I still didn't take it seriously. Big mistake. Now I'm short 25$. Kaylee can't stop rubbing it in how she was the second to last one to finish.

It was really fun to go and walk to streets with my friends without parent supervision. I felt so grown up, and I felt like everybody else did, too. For the rest of the day we visited places, like the mirror maze, the aquarium, the ice cream place, and a Game Stop because Cody would go on and on about how he could get discounts from it. That was the most fun I ever had.

The next day we stayed in the hotel room most of the day, listening to music, watching videos, and playing more games together. It got my mind off of all the bad things going on, which I didn't think was possible.

''You are a master at this! Seriously!'' Kaylee mentioned to Ali after playing Battlefield or something like that. ''HA!'' said Ali. ''I know where all your ships are. You just put them on the edges.''

''One more round!'' said Kaylee. They had already been playing for three hours.

''Want to talk about what's wrong?'' said Cody to me privately. ''Nothing's wrong,'' I lied.

''Please, talk to me, Bee,'' said Cody. ''No, not now,'' I said. ''BEE!'' said Cody. ''STOP! I know something's up! Let me help you!''

''NO!'' I yelled. Everybody stopped and stared at me. I stormed onto the balcony and shut the door. I just waited for the rest of the day to be over on the balcony. When everybody else had gone to sleep, I went back into the room and slid into bed.

Ali's POV:

When we got to the convention, it was just us, and the other teams of gamers. I didn't know that this would be such a huge team... There are 16 teams. Each of which vary from their own skill level. The "FireBlazes," I hear they're good at far range combat in any game... Then there's the "DiddlyDoges" Which are good at skilled hand-to-hand Combat In mortal combat, But Idk about any other games... Kaylee said she thought that "Kamikazes" were gonna be there. She said something about them being skilled at building in Minecraft, same as me. The so called "best team," is called the "Ranged warriors" They talk junk about everyone. I heard last year, they called one team hackers, because they beat them 3-39. People always have to complain when they lose, Huh?

Then, We met this one team already, and they seem like they're from a private school, and they're really stuck up about themselves. It's kinda depressing. I think they're name was, The "Purple Dragons?" But don't quote me on that. There are a few others I don't even know about, so I can't name them all. But this is a super exciting experience. I haven't really noticed everyone we met. I have noticed one thing, however. Kaylee's smiling. She's happy, which makes me happy. When you see nothing but smiles among all of your friends, It kinda makes you happy as well.

An announcement came over the speaker; "Contestants, I need you all to the main area for individual tours. You all have separate stations, and each team gets a station. They're different colors for each individual team. Like red, purple, blue. Just go pick what color you'd like for your stations, as well as their matching computers. You all get one pick, so choose wisely." We went to the main area, where they had 16 groups of 5 computers. Great. This is all we need right now. "Lemon, What color?" Kaylee asked. "Uhhmm, Lime. It'll match our school color, somewhat."

We went over to the lime stations, and picked our individual stations. They were all 5 in a row, and from the outside to the inside, this is how it went; Cody, Bee, Me, Kaylee, and Lemon. Lemon insisted to let Cody sit beside Bee, because he was so gentle with her before. Mostly because he wanted to keep an eye on her as well. I suppose he felt as if he'd done something to her.

''Here's your face cameras,'' said the instructor, pointing out a small camera on the top of our gaming screens. ''They'll turn on once the game starts so everybody in the audience will see your faces. If you feel uncomfortable, turn it off with this button. If there's any problems, tell us. Somebody will be walking around. Also, what's your team name?''

We all looked at each other to decide a name since our school had never competed before. We were new.

''Call us the Limping Lamaas!'' said Bee suddenly. ''Good luck,'' said the instructor. ''OH MY GOD, NO, BEE!'' said Kaylee. I just laughed. The Limping Lamaas? If we won, then the Limping Lamaas would be in the news. What have you done to us, Bee?

''Ready, gamers?'' said the announcements. ''The first game we're going to play is in the action category. Whatever team has the last man standing wins this round!'' There was a pause. ''THREE... TWO....'' The audience cheered. ''ONE... GO!''

On the screens a game loaded. My player was labeled to be on the lime team. Cody, Bee, Kaylee, and Lemon were all beside my character. All of the other teams were on their platforms in the sky, about to be dropped down onto the battlefield. On the chat box in the corner of the screen, a message came up.

''GL, Gamers.'' -Ranged Warriors

-No Longer Limping Lamaa

Cody's POV:

''THREE. TWO. ONE. GAMERS GO!'' The announcements said. The ground dropped beneath us in the game and immediately reality was shut out from my sights. I stared into the game, leaning forward, getting the controls. WASD to move. Mouse to look. Space to jump. RLM button to attack. That was all I needed to know.

When I spotted the enemy, my character flashed his sword and the enemy fell into a void of pixels and was eliminated. ''ONE DOWN!'' I yelled to my teammates. ''TWO DOWN!'' said Lemon. ''THREE DOWN ON THE RED TEAM!'' said Ali. ''Ha! We're too good!''

''I've been shot!'' said Kaylee. ''Somebody heal me! I'm close to the spawn!''

''Found you!''' said Lemon. Kaylee was healed and we continued on. ''I died!'' said Ali, slamming her keyboard. ''The Ranged Warriors are good!''

''Ranged Warriors are winning,'' said Kaylee, ''Elite Power is in second place, and we're in third!''

''The Red Team, or the FireBlazes, have been eliminated,'' said the speakers. ''The purple team, or the Purple Dragons, have been eliminated. The yellow team, or the Bullseyes, have been eliminated.'' I wanted to high five the team, but I was still glued to the computer. Now that there were only a few teams remaining, us and four other teams, we became much more of a target since we had the most players remaining. We were hit up to second place with the most kills when the Elite Power was eliminated. Unfortunately, the Ranged Warriors were high above us.

''I killed a Ranged Warrior!'' yelled Lemon, celebrating his victory.

''HEAL ME!'' I screamed. ''HEAL ME! HEAL- CRAP!'' I kicked the desk to get my rage out. A ranged warrior had come up and slammed me from behind in one hit. I was starting to wonder if they really were hacking.
