3 Days Later.
I slowly took more clothes out of my dresser drawers and folded them into my suit case.
I hadn't seen or talked to Indya in 3 days. She had took all of her belongings and left with Jahseh. The situation left me lost of emotions and words.
I was really leaving my home state for the first time. I was sort of happy I was getting away from all of the stress and bullshit I'd been put through, but sad because I knew we would be leaving my sister behind as well as some really close friends.
My mom and Indya hadn't spoken since the day she told us we were moving to New York with our dad. They were both heated with each other and I couldn't blame either one of them for being so.
I closed back the now empty drawer and moved on to the next one. My mom let me stay home from school for the past few days so that I could help her pack and prepare for our flight.
I had no choice but to quit my job but I wasn't one bit sad about that.
I zipped up my suit case and moved it to the side while grabbing my other one. My room was halfway empty it didn't look the same anymore.
I went over to my closet and dug everything out.
I reached up and grabbed everything off the top shelf including my scrapbook.
I stopped what I was doing and opened it up. I hadn't looked in it or taken any pictures with my filmed camera in a while.
I began flipping through the pages looking at the things that would now be called old memories.
Flipping to the next few pages, I came across a picture. I stopped and stared at him and the serious expression he held on his face.
I took in every feature of him in the photo. He meant so much to me yet he hurt me so bad.
I didn't expect any of this to end like this.
I was mesmerized by it all, I had no emotions to show for it.
I closed the book and put it into my suit case right next to my camera. I finished packing my entire room 12 o'clock midnight.
I decided to go to our place through my backyard for the very last time. I took my time walking through the trees and twigs simply because I wasn't in a rush and I could stay out here for as long as I wanted.
When I arrived, I went right over by the river and stood by it.
I stared at my reflection from the water for a little while. Thats when something on me caught my eye.
I removed the necklace from around my neck and held it into my hand. I played with the little diamond and smiled to myself.
I decided not to stay for long since I had to get up in the morning and catch my flight.
I went over to the rock and placed the necklace on it carefully.
I took one last look at the river before walking away and disappearing into the night.
