Lillian could just imagine the rumors of her, spreading round the school. Everyone was curious about her and wanted to learn more. After everyone found out she can read minds, many people started to wonder about what else she can do. The most common question she was asked was about her life, and her parents. No one understood the pain she was going through, she had to come to Hogwarts, it wasn't a choice she had to. But she was glad she came, she has made some great new friends, and others like Pansy... Overall, she was happy she came to Hogwarts.
"Hi everyone" Lillian said while sitting down at the table with her friends. It was dinner time and everyone was having their usual dinner, except from Lillian who drank for he special cup. Every dinner she would just drink from her special cup while her friends eat dinner. Her special cup had what they muggles call a curly start, every time she takes a big gulp, the red liquid goes through the straw.
"What are you drinking?" Harry asked being genuine but Hermione didn't think so and hit his arm.
"Harry! You can't just ask what she's drinking!" Hermione scolded while Harry just looked at Lillian, seeing what she will say.
"Do you think I'm just going to come and suck to dry because you asked me something?" Lillian asked while laughing, her friend giving a scared laugh in response. "That was sarcasm" Lillian said making her friend look less pale than they were before, mostly Harry looked pinker.
"I guess you noticed I don't eat, I can eat but I chose not to because its easier. I don't have the need to eat that mortals have. I need to drink this so I have it when you guys eat" Lillian explained, pointing to her cup.
"Also if she don't drink her blood she kill everyone, that's the type of monster she is" The Slytheryn Prince said while walking past earning a glare from everyone, mostly Lillian.
"Go away Malfoy, your more of a monster than Lillian and everyone likes her better so I guess she wins" Hermione said, looking smug while saying it.
"Yeah buzz off Malfoy" Ron chipped in, supporting his friend.
"Whatever, at least I'm not a mudblood or a blood traitor" Draco said before walking away with a smirk on his face.
Lillian felt the sudden urge to go and shout at Draco for insulting her friends but stopped herself. Draco knows her secret, if she insults him or anything, he will sorely tell everyone her secret. She couldn't that that happen, so she didn't move.
"He's a idiot" Ginny commented, crossing her arms. Everyone then looked at Harry engrossed in his potions book.
"Your always reading that thing Harry, maybe you should put it away-" Ron said trying to grab his book but Harry quickly pulled back, still reading some pages. Ron started to pile on Harry while Lillian just walked over and in one swift move, she had grabbed the book, sat down on her chair and had started reading it. Harry tried reaching for it but it was no use.
"Some of the instructions are crossed out and replace with something else, where did you get this cheat book?" Lillian asked, throwing Harry back the book so he will answer her question.
"When you, Ron and I went into Slughorne's class late, this was the last book. It was just lying at the bottom, it looked really old and useless. Then I started reading it and it was always right" Harry answered pointing to the book. Lillian and her friends all looked at Harry then the book, wanting it badly. No one moved though, they have enough time to get that book, one way or another.
Lillian's next lesson was with Professor McGonagall. The only people she knew in her class was Hermione, Draco and Blaze, so mostly Slytheryn's which Lillian wasn't pleased with.
"Princess Lillian, you will sit with Mr Malfoy over there" Professor McGonagall told Lillian while pointing to the back of the room where a smirking Draco was. As Lillian walked past Hermione gave her a look of sympathy.
She sat down in her allocated seat and listened to the lesson, even though she knew all of it. She could feel someone staring at her so she looked and saw Draco.
"Yes?" She said, wanting him to explain himself but knew he wouldn't. She sighed and continued to listen even though it was useless. Pulling her left sleeve down, she started to draw on her wrist. Lillian loved to draw, that was one of her many talents. With her right hand started to move her index finger in a pattern.
Draco looked over to see what Lillian was doing. He watched her trace patterns with her finger on her wrist. There was nothing on her wrist so he was confused. The Slytheryn Prince looked away concentrating on the lesson, he found himself looking at her again. As he looked, he notice there was a beautiful picture of a red butterfly.
"How did you do that?" he asked, curiosity getting the better of him. Lillian looked up and was startled by his question, he didn't think anyone noticed.
"My mother taught me how to do it, she is a really good artist" Lillian replied, looking down at her wrist, smiling in satisfaction.
"Its amazing"
"Thanks, I always draw butterflies or eyes, they mean so many things"
"Like what?"
"I guess you'll just have to find out by yourself" Lillian said, leaving Draco with mystery, curiosity and desire to find out, and he always gets what he wants.
