Chapter 6:

Lillian didn't know where she was running to, she just needed to get away. Suddenly she collided into something and she fell to the ground with a thud. Looking up, she realised she was in the forbidden forest and just hit a tree.

She knew her friends would never speak to her again. She was going to tell them, in a week or two but she didn't know how. They needed to understand the background story about her parents and herself but every times she would tell them, she wasn't able to.

Looking up at the trees, she realised she couldn't stay here all day (as much as she wanted to). Lillian curled herself into a ball and placed her head on her knees.

" 'ey there, are you all right?" Said a man behind Lillian. She turned around to be greeted with the groundskeeper. "Oh Princess Lillian! Gave me quite a fright there, let me escort you back to Hogwarts" he suggested while walking over to her and help her up.

While walking back, Lillian was astonished by his size. She didn't say anything though, she didn't want to upset him. "Thought you were a dementor or a deatheater, just saw someone whizzing round fast then hitting a tree! I knew I had to see what it was and saw it was a pupil. I didn't realise it was you until you turned around. Are you All right Princess?"

"Please, call me Lillian, I am rather tired of the title I am given, people expect me to be- well- act privileged and act like royalty. When really I am not allowed to be myself. Also I am quite all right, thank you, -"

"Hagrid, Rubious Hagrid" the large groundskeeper replied while extending his hand.

"Nice to meet you Rubious, if you excuse me I must leave, I have something to attended. Thank you for seeing if I was well and walking me back to Hogwarts" Lillian thanked while shaking his hand, realising she has classes and has to talk to her friends. Rubious smiled and waved goodbye as Lillian walked back into Hogwarts, in search of her friends...

Lillian was frantically searching all over the dinning hall in search of her friends. She decided to not attended any of her lessons this afternoon. That wouldn't be a problem though, if a teacher had a problem with it, Albus  would stand up for her. Under these circumstances, Albus would allow it.

While looking around, she saw a large amount of red hair and immediately knew it was Ron. She then noticed Harry and Hermione and ran to them.

"Hey guys" Lillian said with no response. She sat down next to Hermione and opposite was Harry and Ron, who were all ignoring her. "Look I was going to tell you, but now I need to explain first-"

"You could have just told us" Harry blurted out, cutting her off.

"Yes but-" Lillian tried to explain but was cut off by Hermione.

"We are your friends and you betrayed us"

"Yes but-"

"Something as important as this is something you share with your friends"

"Yes but-"

"Maybe you didn't want to tell us because they forbid you not to"

"No but-"

"Then why didn't you tell us!"

"Becau-"

"Your just like your parents-"

"My parents are cursed!!!" Lillian shouted, making everyone in the hall go quiet. In the corner of her eye, she could see a smirking Draco. Lillian looked at her friend who had a shocked expression on their faces.

"My parents are under the Imperious curse" Lillian whispered, not wanting all of the school to listen. She grabbed her friends arms and took them to the Griffindor common room. She heard Ron moan on the way saying 'hey! I was still eating!' But she ignored it.

"Now can I explain?!" Lillian shouted and sighed, while falling into the comfy chair. The Golden Trio copied her and nodded for her to explain.

"Tom is a close family friend of ours, or was. He would come round every month to see us. You see, my parents new his parents well, so they searched for there child. We were the closest with him when he was 18, by we could see his was changing into something dark and evil.

"One day, Tom visited us and tried to convince us to join him. He was saying he will help the world but he needs their help. My parents could see the evil within his plan and refused.

"When the first war started, Tom had many on his side who were powerful in their own way. He didn't just have wizard and witches, he had other magical beings too. He wanted them on his side. So one day, he sneaked inside the castle and took my parents. He casted them with the Imperious curse so my parents were under his control.

"With my parents gone, I had to rule the vampires but it was very hard. Once in a while he would visit and try to take me by failed because I was prepared. He wanted all of us, my parents and I are royalty and the most powerful vampires, if he had us on his side, he believed he would be invisible. But he didn't understand that I would never join him.

"One day, I had a dream, that my parents were being torched by Tom and that he threatened me to join him. Like all people seeing your parents dying you agree, not thinking

about what you just agreed to.

"When I woke up, I was in a dungeon. I felt a stinging sensation in my back and scream. From there on I remain having this mark..." Lillian finished while pointing to the top of her back. She pulled her top down so they could see the mark.

Her friends gasped in amazement, Harry looking like he would faint. They could believe there eyes, their best friend Lillian had the dark mark. The more they looked, the more its tail started to move. Hermione let go of her blouse to cover up the mark.

Lillian turned back around, facing her friends. "He wants my family to have it on our backs. People would expect it on the arm so when they don't find it on the arm, try wouldn't suspect us..."

"Did you ever join him?" Harry blurted out, not realising he did so until Lillian looked at him intensely.

"No, I was lucky enough to not be under his curse. Every time he would come down to see me, he would try to put me under the curse. I defended myself with more powerful vampire magic. Sometimes he would leave, other times he would use the Cruciatous Curse to punish me for fighting him. You would think the Cruciatous Curse would effect me because of my vampirism, but it does. He makes a more powerful and vampire effective Cruciatous Curse which would probably kill mortals" Lillian explained earning her friends respect for her bravery.

"The worst part is, Tom Roddle, Lord Voldemort, is my godfather!"
