Chapter 3

Glory's POV

This isn't happening. This isn't happening. This isn't happening. I repeated, looking at Seth, as he just laid there in the floor, unresponsive.

A doctor came by the hall and I quickly shut my mouth, preventing what to say. I took a deep breath and said nothing.

"What happened here?" She asked, as I was whistling quietly.

"I don't know. I was walking to see Seth and he looks like he fell onto the floor." I lied, but only to prevent myself from crying.

"Looks like he ripped out his IV but he'll be okay." She felt his pulse.

"Are you serious?" I faked gasped.

"From the look on that bruise on his arm, it seems like it." She explained.

"But he'll be released tomorrow, right?" I asked, wanting more information.

"If another incident like this happens, then we'll keep him for a few days." She assured me.

"Actually, he had some kind of meltdown and ended up crying." I admitted, explaining what happened.

Seth's POV

I slowly woke up, looking at my IV, desperately wanting to take it off. I rolled my eyes, thinking that I want to get out already.

"Dude, you're the most insane person I've ever met and I have never been attracted to anyone like that." Glory said, putting her hand on my cheek.

"Go on..." I smiled, nervously.

"What the hell are you thinking in that head of yours!" She yelled, invading my daydream.

"Just a beautiful girl named Gloriana." I told her, dazed.

"Oh." She said, calming herself down.

"Yeah." I smiled.

"Are you serious? Or just messing with me?" She asked.

"More serious than the last guy who died from his own shit." I laughed, forgetting about the dream.

"Okay, Mr. I-act-like-a-child-24/7." She giggled.

"I'm not that childish." I fake frowned.

"Sometimes you are. When we first kissed, you wanted me to live with you and that's probably the sweetest thing anyone's ever done." She kissed my upper lip.

"I thought I wasn't going see you again. Plus, you're very beautiful." I blushed.

"At least you didn't use sexy." She blushed as well.

"True." I grinned.

Glory's POV

Later that day at around 7 pm, I felt hungry, so I decided to go to In-N-Out Burger since I can't stand hospital food.

"Where are you going?" Seth asked, holding my wrist.

"Just to get a burger and milkshake." I answered, letting go of his hand.
