Hey, guys! I'm currently in my bathroom hiding from my homework. Honestly, what kind of teacher gives students homework on their first day of school?!

I guess I should start from the beginning, huh?

I woke up to the wonderful sound of "Dream" from my phone's alarm clock. It doesn't even sound like a dream. No harps or anything, still just the same BEEP BEEP BEEP.

Anywhoooo, I got dressed, brushed my hair, leaving it down, put on my fake-butt Rolex, and did all the other stuff people do in the mornings. I got downstairs just as Lisa was finishing breakfast. (She eats, then gets ready).

"Hey, dad," I said, throwing my backpack on a chair and grabbing a waffle from the toaster.

"Mornin' K," Dad muttered, passing me the Nutella. He flipped open his newspaper (yes, he still reads those. What a dork) and I knew that that was basically the end of the conversation. I took my time with my breakfast, grabbing my jacket when I was done.

"Later, dad." No response. I sighed. "Lisa, come on, I'm in the car!"

I got into Chuck (err, well. Chuck is the name of Lisa's and my car. I call him Chuck 'cuz he looks like a Chuck. Idk.) and waited. After about five minutes, I honked the horn. After another five minutes, I honked the horn again. I was just about to honk again when Lisa came out, carrying like three bags and looking frazzled. She got into the car, and I immediately started to back out.

"Why do you like to go to school so early. I thought you hated it there." She pulled a tube thingy of red lipstick out of one of her bags and started to apply it. I rolled my eyes. I honestly was never a fan of makeup. It feels annoying and then I can't touch my face or eat or cry and then I start to really break out.

"I wake up at 6:45. 6:55 if I'm really tired. It takes me about twenty minutes to get ready, by that time you're awake and eating. By then it's about 7:05. It takes me about thirty minutes to eat and do other stuff and I'm in the car by 7:35. I can get you in the car by earliest 7:40 and then it takes less than ten minutes to get to school, therefore, arriving at most ten minutes before the first bell rings at 8:00."

"It's really weird how you know exactly what I do in the morning. Stalker much?"

"Shut up," I scoffed, using all my might not to brake really hard and mess up her eyeliner. "And I don't hate school. I hate the people."

"Whatever," was her brilliant response as we pulled into the school lot. As soon as I stopped the car, she was opening the door. "I'm going home with Anna today so don't wait up, kay K?" She jumped out of the car with a dainty laugh and was gone.

Sighing, I got out of Chuck and made my way towards the school. As I walked into the high school, I had some mixed feelings. I had already spent two years at this heckhole, but if I have to be honest, that place wasn't the worst thing about the past two years.

I turned the corner towards the lockers, avoiding eye contact with everyone I passed. I looked up as I approached my locker and I smiled as I saw who was standing there.

"Wassup, loser," I greeted Harry as I opened my locker. I closed it again when I realized I didn't have anything to put in it.

"K," Harry nodded to me, not lifting his eyes from his phone. I cleared my throats three times before he looked up.

"Hellooo? Earth to Harry. Who you texting there, lover boy? New girlfriend?" He blushed and my smile widened. "Well, who is it? Someone I know?"

"Yeah, you know her." He had a smile on his face.
