Oh wow. It's been forever since I've posted here lol. I couldn't not tell you about these past few days. It's very rare that anything interesting ever happens to me and two days in a row of something remotely significant happening. That's definitely something worth logging down.

Lisa hadn't returned home last night, but she texted me that she was at Anna's. When she says she's at Anna's, she's at Anna's. She never hooks up with anyone at Anna's. Lisa and I don't get along, but she knows that deep down I worry about her and so does Dad, so Anna's is like some pact where she never says she's there and isn't. I probably butchered that explanation, it's kind of hard to explain.

Dad had left before I had woken up, but there was a note from him that said Mornin' Bug (that's his nickname for me because he claims that when I was little I'd always stare at lights) Had to head in early today, sorry. Lisa says she's at Anna's, but make sure that she comes home before 6 today. She's been out too much.  Love you and have a good day today, okay? -Dad :)

I ran upstairs to put the note in the cupboard with all the others and headed to school.

I got to school and parked Charles. I had decided not to make a big deal about my arm injury, wearing a jacket over a t-shirt. Sure, it was hot, but I'd rather be a little sweaty than have to explain to everyone how I got it. Hopefully, no one would notice or care enough to say anything. I just didn't know what I was going to do if we had to change for dance.

TSP (Titan Study Period) and the first four periods went by without a hitch. No one noticed the slight bulge underneath my jacket and it wasn't even that hot.

It was just at the end of lunch when my guise fell apart.

Harry, Maya, and I were at our lockers, exchanging notebooks for others and chatting. Maya didn't have lockers near us, but whatever.

"You got home okay, right K?" Harry asked me.

I crossed my arms and leaned against my open locker. "No. I didn't. I got picked up by a murderer and am now dead." Maya snorted and Harry rolled his eyes. "Yes, Harry. I got home fine."

Suddenly, I felt a large body slam into the lockers behind me. Screeching, I leaped forward into Harry. I hid my grimace as my arm hit his.

"OMG. OMG. Hey, Asher," I heard Maya chant. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw her straighten and fix her hair. She batted her eyelashes delicately.

I backed out of Harry and turned. Asher and Matt stood together, both smirking at me smugly. Ash-holes.

"What are they doing here?" I heard Harry mutter.

"Hey, Oprah." I heard Asher's deep voice. A wave a confusion overcame me until I remembered that I actually hadn't told him my real name.

Closing my locker, I crossed my arms and slammed my back against it forcefully. "Is there something I can help you with?" I asked Asher, raising an eyebrow.

"Why, yes, there is." His smile widened, a little less smug.

"And that is?"

"You okay?"

I eyed my friends carefully. "Yes, I'm fine. Why do you ask?"

Asher stared at me and tilted his head quizzically. "What do you mean? Last night? Remember?"

"Of course I remember. I'm not a fragile idiot."

Harry put a hand on my shoulder and my attention was momentarily drawn from Asher. "Kiara, what? What happened last night? Are you okay?"
