To steal a heart [Shulk X Blind! Thief! Reader]

A/N: This is my first request for, Fire-Goddess-Ameta, so please forgive me if it's not what you expected or what you were hoping for, It's not exactly what your plot informed me, but I may have had to switch things up a bit to make more sense in the SSB world (At least what I think it would be like), also, I truly wasn't sure how to write out Shulk's personality, so please forgive me if anything is OOC. But either way, I hope you enjoy.

It was nighttime in the mansion of super smash bros. Every light was off, except for a few dim light that illuminated the area, every brawler was in bed and asleep... well, almost every brawler. There was one person who was up and awake in the silent halls of the mansion. That person happened to be you. Why were you up, well you were sneaking towards a certain person's room. You were a well-known thief in (G/N).

You had been known as a silent thief and was capable of doing the job well. There was one specific thing about you though. You were blind, and this had sort of set others off a bit, especially telling certain (mainly villains) people you were a thief. That little disadvantage didn't stop you from doing what you did best. You, of course, had to heighten all your other sense which worked well for you, especially with everything you stole before coming to Super Smash Bros. Back to the matter at hand, you had been sneaking toward the door of Shulk.

You had made the task of stealing the Monado, a big priority in your mind. Getting closer to the door, you reached for the knob. Slowly you opened the door going into the room the Shulk occupied. You had learned early that Shulk didn't really keep his doors locked, you had wondered why, but at this point and time, it probably wasn't important to dwell on the subject. With a slight creek, you entered the door. You hadn't heard anything indicating that Shulk was awake, so you stepped further into the room (And of course you had a mask on so he really couldn't tell it was you even if you were awake.

Walking further into the room, you opened your eyes. You could only see colored blurs in the room. You were hoping to see something that resembled the Manado. You heard some details about what it looked like, and you could only guess it would look tall, red, and a bit of blue that should glow. Looking back and forth, your eyes finally landed on a blur that had all the details (at least what you could make out) of what was described to you about what the Monado looked like. With slight hesitation, you grab the handle and lifted it.

With silent movement, you worked your way to the door that would let you escape the room. Without realizing it the Monado was slightly leaning out of your hand and bumped into an object much to your surprise. In a sudden quick second, it activated. You could feel the surging electricity rush and flow through your body causing much pain. You tried your best to keep it in, but with all the suffering agony, you suddenly let out a loud yelp. Hearing a screech, Shulk quickly jumped awake to see you with the Monado in your hand.

Quickly jumping out of the bed, he rushed over to where you were to grab the Monado. He got a hand on the handle and pulled it toward himself, but you wouldn't budge. "Let go!" He commanded with a strained voice. You put a glare on your face as you shook your head violently no. Now you and Shulk were having a tug of war over the Monado, both of you persistent and determined to hold onto it. The electric pain that had been in your hand, had eventually spread to your body which set pain everywhere.

Your eyes began to grow tired and heavy, and your body began to feel limp with every passing moment. With a finally blink, you dropped to the ground, the thought of defeat filling your mind as your eyes slowly closed.
