Chris stood beside me. OH NO!! are you kidding me? he is 5.7" in height I guess, as I said height is a big deal to me. i can't manage to move
my heart dropped when i saw Melissa who is in front of me is starting to walk with his partner Shane, hmm.. lucky her. and that's the time I complained to the teacher
stepping backward with my hands in front of me waving for disapproval "Ms. Watson, I can't go with him he's too tall for me" I looked at Allie, who's waiting at my back, she's way taller than me, i pushed her to replace me "Blake, he is your partner" and she laughed, i looked at her "Thanks, you really helped a lot" i told her sarcastically. I looked at Chris, he is smiling ...more like smirking, and putting out his hands for me to hold. I looked at Ms. Watson and said."C'mon, it doesn't matter" yeah, not for you. I have no choice, so i took a step forward and put my hands on his hand.
"this is sick, this is sick, this is sick" i kept on repeating that in my mind until he spoke with a low tone while we are walking "You're lucky I'm your partner" I didn't look at him "wow! you really have guts ya know" he chuckled a lil' bit as we pass by the chairs where my classmates are settled, i looked at them and I know they are trying their best not to laugh. THIS IS FREAKING EMBARRASSING!!!
and at last we're here at the end of the aisle, we bow down as what our teacher said, I was about to pull my hands but he pulled it back and out of the blue he is still courting me on the way to my chair. That' the time I looked at him with confused look but then he is still smiling. ohh... that was nice of him. i looked at everyone's head turned to us, it's not part of the instructions, my classmates giggled when we were approaching my chair, then when i was seated he bowed down and went to his chair. I looked at Melissa seated beside me, laughing. "what's wrong?" I asked her "nothing, your face is as red as tomatoes " and continued laughing. as I heard that, my jaw dropped "what?!" i shouted with a low tone. and Allie arrived without an escort, she is also laughing, "what now?" I asked her, "you two looked like father and daughter" and continued laughing while giving Melissa a high five. arghh!! that's them, 'friends' really says whatever they want to say even if they know it hurts.
after the practice my classmates told me Chris and I look good together, "Blake, you guys are amazing together" that's Karen, "yeah, you're cute couple, he is tall and you are short" Dainty added then she chuckled, wow thanks for the compliment, "you guys are gross."
i told them while sitting in the bleachers, "whatever you say guys... we are not a couple" i told them.
