hey guys!!!
this story is inspired by me, of course, ;-)
just kidding, well we are having our candle light dinner and i got bored waiting for the cotillion dance, the open-to-all-dance, (not to mention the food... :-!) hahah!! so i made this while waiting
part of this story did really happen and part of it is a fiction
warning for some errors, I am a Filipino but I want to crack the shell that covers me and challenge myself for new things though this is my first story

"ok, all third year boys will pair up with senior girls and fourth year boys will pair up with the junior girls". I heard our teacher announced and brought me into the real world. I was in the middle of my daydream. ughh!! it was about to be a happy ending...
"Blake, c'mon!"my friend Allie shouted at me, Allie is a friend of mine, well one of my friends, pulling me to get up and start forming our line in the quadrangle.
we are practicing our candle light dinner for tomorrow. we don't have a junior-senior prom, so the faculty decided to have a candle light dinner for us. the stupid thing is, it will not happen in a hotel but in our school's quadrangle... it will just be a simple gathering, the seniors will wear their casual outfits but us juniors will unfortunately wear our school uniform.
"umhh... maybe we could go their later, we're the last one anyway" i told her and I can see the disappointment in her green eyes,
"oh yeah, I forgot." she said while pouting and sitting beside me. we are the scholars, we have one campus but our class have a different uniform because we are 'scholars', yeah, it kinda like discrimination but it's fine with us, we are all girls in our class but the 'non-scholars' they have their boys in their class. but even if we are all girls in the class, we are going to pair up with the boys
"I hate this thing, what if our partner is very tall?" Melissa said sitting beside me, yeah it's a big deal for us, I am just 5.1" in height and it's kinda embarrassing.
" I hope Shane would be my pair" Margaret added, hmm... wanting the wrong guy. both of their crushes are varsity, and i can say those jocks are obnoxious. they really think they are the star of the school, there is a very thick invisible barrier between us, the so-called-nerds of the school.
"girls, form your line now" our teacher told us as the 'non-scholars'
are about to finish with their processional signaling our turn.
we all lined up, the boys are fewer than the girls, so some of them voluntarily went back to the line, i was expecting that the 'good-boys' will be the ones who will form their line because they are my friends, but i was wrong because the not-so-gentlemen did go back and formed their lines to court us on the way to the aisle. it's surprising because they are the ones who don't like us, well they didn't tell us but the way they act towards us all these years. and now they volunteer?!
I am waiting for my turn when suddenly some gigantic creature stood beside me ...

that's the end
