Chapter Two

Chapter two: First day at school

I pulled up into the schools parking lot, gaining quite a lot of attention from everyone. I'm not surprised seeing as I have my music playing so loud that werewolves in another country would probably hear it. Oh yeah I forgot to mention I was a werewolf, and my wolf was a rare colour. It was white with blue eyes.

I decided to park my car as far away from the school entrance as possible. When I found a spare spot I parked my car, took my keys and bag out and began to walk into the school. I looked around to notice everyone was staring at me with wide eyes. Yes I was a new girl that they haven't seen before but really do they need to be gawking at me like I'm some precious object.

Once I walked into the school, ignoring all the stares I was getting I went off to search for the office so I could get my schedule and locker number and code.

After walking around for what seemed like hours I gave up. This school was like a maze, it's hard to find anything in this school. Plus there's loads of other kids, mainly werewolves walking around in the corridors. I began to worry about being late on my first day to my first class that I had no idea where it would be held.

''You lost?'' A voice from behind me asked. Making me jump which made me turn round too quickly as I ended up falling on the floor.

''I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you jump'' A guy spoke with concern in his voice. I smiled a its-okay smile and stood up facing him.

He was quite tall about 6ft"6. I felt tiny being near him I was only 5ft"6 most of the werewolves in my pack where way taller than me so I got picked on for being small. He had dark brown hair with, emerald green eyes. He was wearing a tight black V-neck that showed of his abs. Strictly speaking he was HOT.

I must of been staring too much as I heard him chuckle whilst rubbing his neck awkwardly.

''Um.. Y-yeah I'm trying to look for the office so I can get my schedule, but this place is a maze'' I said with a frustrating tone in my voice. He must of noticed as he placed his hands on my shoulders to comfort me.

''Right then. I'm Rodrigo, please allow me to show you where it is um?'' He held his hand out for me to shake. I shook his hand which felt warm.

''I'm Millie'' I stated as we walked towards where the entrance is to the school.

We walked through several corridors till we came up to a small room with the words 'Main Office' written above the door.

''Here we go, just go straight through those doors and someone should be able to give you your schedule'' He shoved me in the direction of the door I had to go through and left in a hurry without saying goodbye. How lovely.

I walked through the door Rodrigo told me to go through. As the door creaked open an old lady who look tired looked up from her computer and stared at me till she got off her seat and walked towards me.

"Name?" her voice held no emotion what so ever. She was old and tired by the looks of it.

"Um it's Millie ... Millie Jones" I stuttered. I was always bad at communicating with people. Plus I tend to be shy.

The old lady walked over to the shelves to get something that looked like files down. The lady was short, shorter than me so I went over to help. I carefully lifted the box of the shelf and placed it on a wooden desk. She gave me a warm weak smile to say thank you.

" Here's your schedule, and locker code... I hope you have a good day Millie. And don't get lost." the woman seemed so caring as she placed another smile on her face before she went back to her desk. I put the box of files back on the shelf and walked towards the door. Before I reached the door the lady lifted her head up and smiled.

" You are the only one who has helped me in so many years. People think this job is easy. It's not. The damn principal won't give me a ladder so I can reach stuff like that box" she pointed towards the box I had placed back on the shelf. "I am truly grateful for your help Millie. If there are any problems with anything come to me" she smiled as she said goodbye before I walked out the room. She even slipped a map of the school in with my locker code and schedule.

I looked to see what a my first lesson was to see it was maths. Yuck. The worse subject ever.

I followed the map to find my class. Soon the bell went and everyone began to rush to class which ended up confusing me of where I was.

"Need help again huh?" I recognised that voice. It could only be Rodrigo. I turned around to see if I was right. I was. He stood there with a wide grin on his face.

" I was c..coping I.. I just got confused when everyone began to rush around everywhere" I looked at the floor embarrassed. I was new to this schedule, new to this school. New to everything.

He chuckled and lifted my chin up so I was facing him.

"You have maths right?" I nodded. "Then come with me your in my class" I was surprised to know he was in my class but I was happy too.

We walked towards our first class getting there just in time before the class began.

"Ahh there you are Millie, I was getting worried that you would get lost on your way here" The teacher said in a surprised tone, yet his facial expression showes otherwise.

"She had me with her so she wouldn't of gotten lost, Sir" Rodrigo spat when he mentioned the word 'Sir'.

"I see... very well take your seats Mr.Rodrigues and Miss Jones" as he walked away from us and waited so he could begin.

After maths the rest of my lessons went by in a blur. Lunch came and went, yet I stayed in main office helping out the lady who gave me my schedule. I learnt that her name was Jean. She was sweet and caring.

Finally the day was finished and it was time to go home.

When the bell rang I got up and left as soon as possible. I just needed a nice warm shower to relax. I walked out the school towards my car. I threw my bag over my shoulder as I searched my pockets for my car keys. They weren't here.

" Millie!!" I heard Rodrigo call my name from the school entrance. He came running up to me waving something in his hand.

When he got to me he was panting from being out of breath.

"Y..you left... your keys.. in the library" he mumbled as he tried hard to get the words out between each breath.

I noticed he had my keys and I felt my eyes where going to pop out. I was so glad I had my keys. I gave Rodrigo a hug and thanked him and promised to repay him the favour.

Afer speaking to Rodrigo for half an hour I got into my car and drove home, I played Ed sheeran all the way home thinking about today.

I hope tomorrow will be better. I sighed as all these thoughts popped up in to my head.
