Chapter Six: Now or never

After I had the small talk with the principal I decided to go home. I made sure I texted Claire and Ellie, saying I had some stuff to do and that I would see them later in starbucks in the mall at 4 o'clock.

I put my headphones in and zoned into my music world. Today had been an eventful day so far. Lunch time I spent it will Ellie as she told me all about her parents who died in a rouge attack. I felt sorry for her I truly did.

As I was lost in my thoughts, I didn't know the pair of arms that wrapped them securely and protectively around my waist. But I felt the shocks that sent my body into autopilot. I leaned against the persons hard chest feeling safe in their presence. I could tell it was my mate, I pulled away and turned around to be met with those gobsmacking green eyes of his that I would instantly melt just by looking into them.

I took my headphones out and placed them inside my back pocket then looked at my mate infront of me.

My wolf was purring in the back of my mind just by being in my mates presence. I was studying his well toned body till he chuckled and god it was a sexy chuckle. I looked up and looked into his eyes.

''Like what you see?'' he smirked making me turn my head as i felt my cheeks burn up.

He chuckled again making me want to just jump on him and kiss him. No Millie stop thinking like that. I mentally slapped myself as he spoke again.

''I'm Jayden, Alpha of the Silver-stone Pack and you must be Millie Jones the one who met my brother on her first day'' he growled as he mentioned the last part. Great. Now I have to deal with a overprotective mate plus my brother's.

''Yes that's right but look...Umm I have somewhere to be so I have... to umm go'' I spoke quietly and if it wasn't for his werewolf hearing he wouldn't have heard me. I began to walk away when he grabbed my waist slamming me into his well built chest. He growled.

''Never walk away from me again my mate" I nodded. He then did the unexpected. He smashed his lips against mine and god it made my knees feel weak. He wrapped his hands around my waist. I had one arm on his shoulder and the other at the back of his neck pulling him closer if that was even possible. He deepened the kiss quickly and I could feel his wolf is at surface. He licked my bottom lip asking for entrance, but to annoy him I denied. He growled and lifted me up and wrapped my legs around his waist as he slammed me against the wall. He had his hands on my bum and the other on my lower back. He squeezed my bum which made me gasp. He took this opportunity to slide his tounge in my mouth swirling it around out of hunger and lust. we battled for dominance of the kiss but he easily won. Jerk.

When we finally pulled away I was gasping for air. He didn't stop there as he trailed kisses down my jaw line and down my neck till he got to the spot he would mark me one day. I couldn't help the moan that escaped my mouth as he kissed my sensitive spot. He grinned and licked it multiple times makinge crave more of him. I wanted him to mark me and my wolf was howling with joy. Its now or never.

"J-jayden'' I managed to get out after catching my breath.

"Yes kitten?" he was panting now as he looked into my eyes and all is saw was lust and need. It was his wolf not Jayden. That much I knew.

"can you let me go?"I asked quietly. He grinned at me and brushed his lips against mine.

Once we broke apart, he smiled at me and let me back down so my feet were touching the floor. But that smile soon turned into a growl as he flinched back as if I burned him. I was confused but one look at his eyes told me everything I kissed his wolf not him.

"This was a mistake, stay away from me got it?" His tone was harsh as he shoved passed me and went god knows where. I simply ran to my car and went home trying not to cry.
