The first warning.

Days went by as I dreaded this coming Friday. And school wasn't easy either. This week's homework was to write two essays on the world wars and it's effects, 4 pages of algebra 2, biology research paper on cells, chemistry fill in the blank about atoms, and practicing for track tryouts next week.

Kelly  and her posse were being meaner to me than ever before, now that James had joined them. I bet he's already told them I'm his neighbor, that would explain why our entire front yards was TP'd on Wednesday. nd my mother still thinks James isn't that bad? Honestly! And as a cherry on top of the worst sundae ever, I just found out that Alice and I have no classes together, what so ever. I'm already looking forward to summer.

Heading to school on Friday morning, my head was already beating around my skull, making it throb painfully with every movement I make. I had P.E first period, so I made my way to my locker, grabbed my gym clothes and headed to the changing room.

I was the first one in, so I had the stalls to myself. I crept into one and locked the door. I leaned my head against the door and breathed in deep. I just want this week to end so badly.

After about 2 minutes, girls started to pile in, talking and gossiping, the usual.

I was about to walk out of the stall when I heard Kelly and her posse talking.

"So.....did he say yes?" Someone said, it sounded like Cheryl.

"He has a dinner today at Harmony's place, so he said that it was the perfect time for us to meet for our date." That was definitely Kelly.

"Ooooh, where is he taking you?" This was another girl, probably Daisy or Megan.

"Dunno, he said it was a surprise," said Kelly with a squeal.

The other girls squealed with excitement with her and left the changing room.

When I came out, there was no one there, so I stepped out into the gym and ran around the corner to the bleachers where everyone else sat.

What kind of dumb idiot would go on a date with the new kid from another country, who is a jerk, hits on any girl he sees and doesn't tell where they are going?! I wouldn't be surprised if he's a serial killer. I know I should probably tell her that but.....she thinks I'm a waste of space, so, no.  Honestly though, they are perfect for each other, a match made in hell.

Suddenly a whistle blew.

Coach Leigh walked up from her office and into the gym. "Alright you guys know the drill, warm up, stretches, then dodge ball, LETS GO!"

Coach blew the whistle again, and everybody got off the bleachers to fill their orders.

We ran for a warm up, did some weak stretches and yoga poses, and in 20 minutes, we were ready to play dodgeball. Well, some were. Half the kids were already sprawled on the ground, exhausted. I was up and ready to go, I hated and loved running, but I've always had the drive to go on, painful or not.

"COME ON YOU WUSSES, LETS GO, HALF ON EACH SIDE, TEAM WITH THE LAST ONE STANDING WINS, GO!"

She blew the whistle and everyone reluctantly got to their feet and got into position.

But before we could start, Coach Leigh blew her whistle.

"OK LISTEN UP, WE HAVE A TRANSFER STUDENT FROM ANOTHER CLASS WHO WILL BE JOINING US THIS YEAR, JAMESTON RAVENSTEIN!"

My heart just broke in two and sank to the bottom of my stomach like the Titanic.

This is horrible, he was in about every class, and her tormented me in every. single . one. He made fun of me in front of the class on the first day. Think of what he can do to me during dodgeball! This kid hates me. Yesterday, he put pins on the top of my chair during Spanish and he didn't even deny it! He said that I was a pain in the ass and I deserved to know the pain.  I never did anything to him. That's not all, he said that I was so vile, I didn't even know what I was! What the heck does that even mean?! This kid has some serious issues, and for some crazy reason, it was only with me.
