The red wall protected them. That's what he wanted. None of them deserved this, it was his fault they were even in the world in he first place. He needed to finish what he started.

Evan turned around and looked at Hunter, fear was in her eyes. He could hear her yell at him, telling him to stop. She knew, along with Feyd, what he was going to do. He needed to save that one person who would know what to do. That person would end this and be much a better leader than himself. Though there was a risk, Evan was willing to take it.

Turned back around, he faced Brine and the few kings he had summoned.

Why didn't he bring all of them?

Ignoring the thought, Evan took a small step forward, the villains mimicked. Brine smirked and walked in front of his creations and was now face-to-face with Evan, but he had to stand on his toes to do so.

"Listen, Joytin, you don't have to do this, just hand them over and it'll be over," Brine said with a sympathetic smile. He held out his hand for Evan.

Evan looked down at it and looked back at his friends. Feyd stared at him wide eyed and yelled at him, telling him to cut the crap.

Shaking his head, Evan looked at Brine, and shook his hand. Then he dug his nails into a cut in Brine's hand. His nails pierced into the virus' skin and made him bleed coding onto the ground. Before he could fight back Evan kicked his enemy onto the ground which made Brine loose grip of his sword. It was sent flying to his right but Evan used his powers to make it appear in his hands. He drove the sword into the ground where Brine's coding. The ground started to crack open and a white light appeared from under the ground. It was a blinding light, but Evan held his ground.

Hunter began to bang against the wall and yell louder. Looking back one last time, he saw tears in her eyes.

"STOP EVAN PLEASE!" she begged from behind the wall.

"I'm sorry," he said and put his hand over his heart. "but it has to be done."

He forced himself to look away from his friends, he didn't want to say goodbye. Not only did he have the say goodbye to them, he had to say goodbye to himself, and the one thing that separated himself from the monsters:

His sanity.

Out of the cracks came a white substance. It touched his foot and he screamed; it was painful. But I had to this, it had be done no matter what. The pain pierced through his souls and his arms grew thinner and thinner. His skin was turning pale and his eyes, my god, his eyes were almost drowning in blood. He could barely see anymore, but it was done. He did it.

Red tears streamed down his face as he stared to laugh.

"Finally."

Then he collapsed on the ground when his eyes were fully filled with blood.

Feyd watched with fear in his eyes as Evan killed himself, well, not really kill himself, but in some way he did. He knew what Evan was doing, he had told him before. But this wasn't right, Evan didn't have to do it, if he lost his sanity all would be lost.

But Evan had to save his friend, it would be the only way to complete the plan.

"Complete the plan," Feyd echoed and touched the red translucent wall.

The Oracle looked up at him and just nodded. She knew what would happen next, so she was ready.

Hunter's face was red form the tears that came from her face. She looked down at Tommy in her arms and sobbed more. She couldn't believe Evan was...gone.
