Married To The Alpha (Book Two)

Good Morning

Rose is 4 weeks pregnant

I am wakes up by Jake groaning and rolling over in bed. When I look over at the clock it reads 9:27 a.m

"Jake" I say softly an nudge his I'm the side. Jake groans and rolls over. "Jake!"

His head snaps up and he looks at me "What do you want at-" he looks at the clock "9 fucking 30 in the morning?!" He yells

I giggle "I have to pee. And your were holding onto me really tightly"

His eyes soften "Did I hurt you?"

"No. I just really have to pee!" I say and sprint into the bathroom.

After I pee I strip and get in the shower , the warm water cascading off my body. I sigh and wash my hair and body.

I am standing there when two arms slide around my waist. One hand resting on my small bump. I hope there is only one baby in there this time.

"What are you thinking about?" Jake asks softly as we sit down onto the tile floor.

I sigh and curl in a ball in-between his legs , resting my head on his chest. "The future" I say and he nods.

"Rose , are you happy about these children?"

"Of course I am! I just didn't think it would be so soon" I say softly

Jake sighs "It has been three years"

"I know. I'm glad that our wedding isn't until the end of the year. It will give us some time to adjust to the new baby"

"Yeah , maybe your mom and dad can watch the kids so we can go on our honeymoon"

"Maybe" I sigh and nod then close my eyes. The warm water still cascading over us , as a comfortable silence fills the room.

"I love you" I whisper

"I love you too" Jake says and kisses my head.

•• Jake's POV ••

I cant be any more happy about having another child with Rose. Slowly one by one our family is growing. I cant wait until Gavin is old enough to take over the pack with his mate , when I'm to old and no longer able to do the work.

Rose and I are laying on our couch curled up together. Our hands entwined , but resting on her small bump.

We are watching a movie that Rose loves called "Catching Fire" , I honestly don't mind for it to much.

"No!" Rose screams and buries her head in my chest , as some guy named 'Peeta' hits the force field.

I chuckle , then the door bell rings which causes me to groan. I pause the movie "I'll get it" I say.

I stand up and start going to the door , I hear shuffling behind me , meaning that Rose is following me.

I open the door to see that David guy standing there with a smile. He see's me , and his smile fades. "Hello" He says

"What do you want?" I growl "I said not to come back"

"Jake!" Rose hisses and slaps my arm. "David , come in" She says with a smile.

I step aside and he walks in , I growl as he walks by me. "Make your-self at home David , Excuse us for a minuet" Rose says and pulls me aside.

"Really?!" She growls.

"What?" I ask

"Be nice! He is a friend , plus he didn't do anything to you" She pus her hand on her hips.

"I'm sorry baby... Its just my wolf doesn't like him. He's bad"

"Its okay... Just be nicer"

"I'll try"

•• Rose's POV ••

When we walk back into the living room , David is sitting on the couch eating my popcorn. "Sorry about that" I say to him , making him jump.

"It's okay. Can I talk to you?" he asks then looks at Jake "Alone".

I look at Jake with a sly smile. "I'll be okay. I'll mind link you if it gets bad" I whisper to him.

He nods and kisses my head then walks away , probably to the Kitchen or Family Room. I walk over and sit next to David. "So?"

"I still have strong feelings for you Rose" He blurts out , his eyes wide and full of shock and a sorrow.

My eyes go wide and I'm left speechless. "I'm sorry , but I found my mate and I don't - We cant ever be together again. I'm sorry" I say softly.

See , David and I have a past. Before I met Jake , before any of this drama happened. We dated. We broke up in a fight which left us both heartbroken. More me than him , I think.

"Well , I still like you a lot" He says sternly. I can now see a new emotion swimming in his eyes. Anger and pain.

"I'm soon to be married. And I have two children! And more on the way!" I say standing up , ignoring the sore feeling that shoots threw my back.

"I don't care!" He yells and stands up grabbing my arms "You shall be mine" He growls.

"Let. Go!" I scream

Just then Jake storms in and growls loudly "Let. My. Mate. Go!".

David drops my arms and storms out of the house. I walk over to Jake and walk into his arms with tears in my eyes. "Jake. He almost. Hurt me. And. The baby" I sob

"Sh , its okay baby. Its okay , he wont hurt you , not on my watch" He says softly while stroking my hair.

Jake picks me up bridal style and carries me to our bedroom and gently sets me down on our large plush bed and covers me up with the soft comforter.

Jake goes to leave the room but I say. "Don't leave me alone. Please"

"Never" He says softly and lays down next to me. He wraps his arms around my waist and I snuggle into him , inhaling his soothing scent.

He kisses my forehead and I fall asleep happy , tired , yet alert.

A/N : Hello! Okay so I feel terrible about not updating for a while! But I hope that this was enough for now , I hope that you are enjoying this story , as it is the second book in the series.

Also in case you didn't know , werewolf pregnancy a only last 4 months , and at 3 1/2 weeks the mother starts to show a little bit , because they do have a faster , I should say , growing rate? Then a human.
