We picked the twins up from my parents house and took them to the beach so they could go swimming and play in the sand.

I take my flip flops off and set then down , then Jake and I walk near the water with the wet sand under our feet. I love the beach.

"Hey Jake" I say softly

"Mhmm?" He says

"Let's have our wedding on the beach" I say

"Sure. Adrian can be the flower girl and Gavin can be the ring barrier." he asks and spins me around to the point were I can look at him.

"I love you Rose" He says and gently kisses me.

"I love you Jake" I say once we pull away.

Jake kisses me again and I pull back and we start back to were the kids are splashing on the water.

Once we get there Jake picks me up and spins me then throws me into the water.

I scream as my heart beats out of me chest. My eyes are wide and my sundress is now soaked. He is lucky I brought a extra one.

"Jake Matthews!" I scream and he flinches.

"Yes Rose dear?" He asks all innocent

"Ohhhhhh! Dads in trouble!" Gavin says pointing a finger at Jake , then Adrian comes full speed at Gavin and pushes him into the water.

Gavin screams at the top of him lungs while Adrian laughs at him. "Just like her father" I mutter but thanks to our enhanced hearing Jake heard me.

"And Gavin is like him mother" Jake says grinning and the kids run off to the beach.

I go to say something back when I hear a high pitched scream. My wolf starts to howl and is itching to be let out to reach the scream.

"Gavin! Adrian!" I scream panicked and bolt to the beach , Jake is right behind me.

"Mommy!!" I hear Adrian scream

I follow her voice and we come into a clearing behind some bushes and there is a huge black wolf with another huge grey wolf next to it.

"Adrian! No!" I scream

I run and jump at the wolves while changing into my large wolf. I growl and hit the black wolf.

I hear Adrian screaming and Gavin crying. "Jake! Get them to the beach!" I mind link him.

I hear the screaming and crying die down meaning Jake took them away. I snarl and bite into the wolf's ankle making it screech in pain.

"Rose! Look out!" I hear a voice yell

I lift my head and see the Grey wolf come running at me , but I'm fast enough and I dodge it then run the the beach leaving the two wolves there with the voice.

I see a streak of black run past me and I hear it growl. I snap my head around and see Jake run into the bushes probably trying to catch the wolves.

I turn around and sprint to were my baby's lay in a cave that we found a couple weeks ago. "Mommy?" I hear Gavin sniffle.

I nod my large head and Gavin and Adrian come running over to me and they hug me. Then we cuddle up on some rocks and just wait for Jake to come and get us telling us the coast is clear.

--Unknown POV--

She is so beautiful , her long blonde hair flowing behind her , with her blue eyes shining brightly , her short blue dress shows her curves off perfectly and her smile makes my wolf howl in happiness.

I hear rustling behind me and I forcibly look away from my angel and see Ethan , my beta.

"Sir , they think that we are just rouges passing by" He says threw the mind link.

"Okay great , now let's go get our luna" I say and start towards the beach.

--Jakes POV--

I easily take the black wolf down , but the grey wolf runs off into the unknown. I growl angrily at the dead wolf at my paws.

They could have killed Rose , or my children. Then I would have killed them from anger and other reasons.

I don't know who these wolves are , and why the decided to attack us , but I will find out , if there is two of them , there is more.

The body at my feet is the only one I recognized. His eyes which were once bright , are now dull.

And his fur was matted in spots , he also looked skinnier , even in wolf form.

"Why Ethan?" I think to myself

Ethan and I were best of friends , we were always together and then one day he ran away. From me , from his family , from his mate , from the pack.

We had thought we found traces of him but we weren't sure , and now here he is , dead in a puddle of his own blood.

I head back down to the beach and go to the cave were I left Adrian and Gavin. When I walk in Rose has the kids curled up around her sleeping while she sits awake and on guard.

I turn back and get changed into some torn jeans and a t-shirt. "Hey baby , there gone. It was just some rouges" I say and see Rose nod her large head.

Her wolf is a large white one with a black paw and a black eye and bright purple eyes that shine brightly. As she got older we saw some silver streaks in her fur which looked really cool.

"I'll be back" I tell her and walk out to the car and grab her extra clothes then walk back into the cave and hand them to her.

Se takes them in her mouth and gently gets up and walks farther into the cave to change.

I pick up Adrian and Gavin and take them to the car and lay them down and lock the doors so they don't get out , and no one gets in.

I head back into the cave to see Rose sitting on a rock in deep thought. I walk up to her and sit next to her. "What are you thinking about?" I ask her.

She looks at me and I see worry in her blue eyes , "What if I am pregnant? What if we have another battle? I don't want my baby involved with it" She says softly with tears in her eyes.

"Sh its okay , there wont be a battle , I promise. And if there is you wont fight and our baby's will survive. I would give my life up for you , and the kids" I say and pull her into a hug and hold her on my lap.

She buries her head in my chest then looks up at me "What about our wedding?"

"We will get married , we will have a safe home for our children , and there will be no war"

"What if I miscarry again?" She asks softer than before.

My eyes water , we never did get to see that little baby. Every year we celebrate the day we lost our baby. Rose thinks it was a girl so we named her. 'Chloe Elizabeth Matthews'

She is our little angel that is watching us and keeping us safe.

"You wont. Don't worry about that" I whisper and push some of her blonde hair away from her face and look into her blue eyes.

"Let's go. I want to go home and get a hot bath" She says and slowly stands up.

I nod and we walk back to the car. The only sounds on the way home are of Adrian and Gavin softly snoring.
