The mind truly does evolve over the course of a life span. Our cells regenerate at full length after a mere seven years. Meaning we literally have new skin. I've concluded, within my own mind, that we have several life spans that utilize a single brain.
For Example:
If you write a letter about your daily philosophy today- then reading it in a decade. You'll see everything you thought you understood or deeply believed is now dissociated from how you now feel.
It's much like judging another person, which at the time of review, all present understanding of the world will be without fault. Call it an endless cycle of life through biology and experience.
