Melanie:

My alarm clock went off.

I groaned and stretched my arm to turn it off, hitting the button at the top. After that stopped, I still layed in bed.

Why did I set my alarm on? I didn't have anything to do in the morning.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a Twitter notification

@loganpaul: last day shooting for #loganpaulVS. Going to miss the whole crew but I have a surprise in store for them😎

Then,

I sighed, wishing I could be there and congratulate them.

But I couldn't. While they were living it up in LA, I was here in Ohio all by myself.

I moved out of my parent's house and moved into an apartment when I was 18. Now I'm 22 and still living here.

I got up dragging my feet to my closet. I picked out a blouse and grabbed a pair of jeans. I quickly changed and put my hair in a messy bun going into the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth.

I walked outside and around the corner to the kitchen. I went to the fridge and got out the milk along with the strawberries.

I felt my phone vibrate against my jeans. I took it out and smiled at the screen and answered.

"Logan Paul?" I said.

"The one and only." He winked followed by a chuckle.

"Hm..the same Logan Paul who is too famous now to talk to anyone but celebrities?" I said setting it down to face me.

"Hey, you're always going to be the one I'm dying to talk to, alright?"

"Yeah, yeah." I smiled.

"I'm serious, Melanie. You're my bestfriend and I love you. You're always going to be my number 1."

I smiled. "Thanks, Logan. I love you too."

I then saw a parrot fly to his shoulder. Maverick.

"Oh! Look who came to say hello.." He said turning his head.

I smiled as he squawked. "Hey Maverick!"

He then flew away somewhere I couldn't see and Logan watched him go. "See you later buddy."

I laughed. "So anyways, what's up? Why'd you call?"

"What, I can't just call my bestfriend without having a reason to?"

I cocked my head to one side.

"Okay I may have a reason why I called.."

I smiled. "What is it?"

"I've thought about it and I was wondering..how would you like to come to LA?"

I frowned. "Like to visit?"

"No like to live here." He said. "There's an empty apartment next to mine and I already bought it for you."

"Logan.."

"Wait, I'm not done." He smiled. "How would you also like to be my assistant?"

"Your assistant?" I said.

"Yeah, I mean you know I'm not a very organized person..I kind of need your help."

"Why me?"

"Melanie c'mon, we haven't seen each other in like five years and I miss you.."

"Logan, I don't know.."

"I'll pay for your plane ticket and everything!"

"Logan, you're doing so much for me but—"

"No 'buts'!" He said. "You're coming, I already payed."

I smiled then let out a laugh. "Fine! Fine, Logan..I'm going!"

He clapped his hands together. "THASS MUH GIRLLL!"
