Jake:

I got home from the set of Bizaardvark with Chance & Anthony. We planned on doing some dares from the spinning wheel once everyone else came home.

"I'll be right back guys," I yelled to Chance and Anthony who were in the kitchen. "I'm going to the bathroom!"

I headed upstairs and to the right walking my way down to my bedroom.

As I opened the door, I noticed some colored balls on the floor. I opened it wider. "What in the.."

Suddenly I saw someone come up from the under. "SURPRISE!"

I stood there. I couldn't believe it.

"Melanie?"

"Hi, Jake." She smiled.

"W-What are you doing here?"

Then I saw Logan come up too. "Hey little brother." He grinned.

"Was this one of your pranks?" I said getting inside.

"A prank with a big surprise." He said looking at me. "Alright let's go before he tells me to clean this mess up."

I saw him grab her hands and help her up.

"Wait, seriously what are you doing here in LA? I don't mean to sound like I don't want you to but-"

"Bro." Logan chuckled holding his hand up to stop him from talking. "I offered her a job as my assistant..and now she's going to live in my building next to my apartment."

"Woah, really?" He looked at me.

I nodded. "Guess the squad is finally back together? You have no idea how much I missed you two." I smiled looking at both of them.

Jake opened his arms and I went into them. "I think I missed you more.."

"Nah, okay let's go Mel." I saw as he pulled her away from me.

"Don't worry Jake," She said. "I'll be visiting here soon once I get settled."

I smiled. "I'm so glad you're here."

"So am I." She smiled.

I watched as they both walked off and then downstairs hearing as they said hey to the rest downstairs.

I sat on my bed not caring about the balls on the bed but thinking of Melanie.

I've been in love with her ever since we've met. When she would help us with the vines and our youtube videos.

I honestly didn't want to leave her but she wanted me to "pursue my dreams." Before I left, I promised her I would come back..for her.

Five years later, I never kept my promise.

I heard Chance & Anthony by the door.

"Bro, Melanie came to LA for you.." Chance said not even caring about the balls.

I shook my head not making eye contact with me. "No. My brother offered her a job as his assistant and brought her to LA.."

I stood up running my hands through my hair.

"Jake, you alright?" Anthony said.

"J-Just surprised." I said. "This is the biggest surprise I've ever gotten."
