Melanie:

We finally got to the building complex after a couple of minutes.

"This is your new apartment." He said opening the door for me. I got in and looked around. There wasn't anything just the plain white walls.

"I know there isn't much but whenever you want we could go furniture shopping and I'll pay for everything."

I looked at him. "Thanks, Logan. But..you don't need to do that. I have my own money."

"But I want to." He said. "You're my bestfriend and I want to help you get settled in a city you barely know."

I sighed and went to hug him. "Thank you so much Logan. For everything."

I pulled away and looked at his lips. It was quiet for a minute until..

He cleared his throat. "Um..do you wanna see something cool?"

"Uh..sure."

He let me go and pointed. "Go out to the balcony."

"Okay?" I giggled and walked. "Wait, where are you going?"

He didn't hear. He left.

I walked outside and looked at the view. It was beautiful and I got to see the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

"Melanie!" I heard someone say.

I looked to my right and saw Logan outside his balcony, waving at me.

I rolled my eyes, smiled and waved back.

"Come on over!" He said.

After seeing Maverick again and meeting Kong for the first time, I finally felt relaxed.

Since I didn't have any furniture in my apartment, Logan told me I could sleep in his room.

jakey: hey i think we really didn't get to talk and welcome you to the team 10 house like i was supposed to. Instead I have a surprise for you..do you want to come over for a bit?

melanie: don't know if your brother would let me out..😏

jakey: just sneak out
I'll have someone come get you

melanie: fine okay (:
