Tea Party Fixes Everything Pt2

Kidd was swearing in every way he knew how under his breath along with clutching the bottle of whiskey tight in his claws, and was even inventing a few words or two when he stumbled over his words, but no matter how upset he tried to be, he just couldn't stop blushing.

That girl was something else, she was encouraging, kind, friendly, excitable and...everything he wanted in a big sister, another wave of heat met his cheeks at the thought of seeing her everyday, but don't get him wrong, Law was an amazing older brother, in fact sometimes he did his job a little too well, which was why they needed an older sister.

Law needed someone to look after him as well, and that girl was seemingly filling the job just right, she was bringing joy to the otherwise gloomy and chaotic home and made everyone feel lighter in a way, it was like all of their problems were slowly being lifted off of their chests with her goddess-like presence.

But...Kidd slowly glanced back at the door and deeply sighed making his shoulders slump, she was a freaking noble's daughter and not just any noble, but THE noble...trying to take her into the family would be the same as asking the royal to just come up and eliminate the whole family in a fit of bloody rage.

(Y/N) blinked at herself on the floor and huffed with a cute pout puffed up on her cheeks, he didn't have to go and shove her onto the floor and all, Appo only shook his head looking back at the door the brute disappeared through and sighed in irritation, sometimes he found his sibling was as thick as a concrete brick.

Smiling down at her and at Zoro's childish pout of jealousy from the side, he gave her a rough pat on the back after helping her back onto her feet again, "aw don't mind him, he probably couldn't handle all of that affection, probably fried his tiny wee brain" the comment instantly cheered her up as a toothy smile made onto her (L/S) lips, "oh" was all she said, but her standstill features soon brightened up again when Appo handed her a weirdly shaped sack, thinking it as too precious not to share with her new 'boyfriend', (Y/N) urgently strutted to his side and excitedly shoved the open sack at his face.

There he was met with the sight of elegant lavender colored designs with yellow musical notes decorated on the plates, teacups and teapot, and silverware in the shape of musical notes, it was a pretty but still curious design, "doesn't this just burn your soul?" The woman giggled.

This moment was bittersweet for the raven as he sent a discreet but obvious glare to the beaming street musician who only grinned even wider at his little huff, Law was happy that they were trying to get good points with her, sure, but it made him feel left out and paranoid since he didn't have anything for her himself, were these little runts trying to insinuate a game of bloody war?

At first he thought it was just a silly idea, but only until did he notice the other's evil smirks did he realize that really was their goal, oh those little sneaky...

Before he could even act out on his violent thoughts did he pause, soon a very narrow smirk formed on his face as a brilliant plan started to form inside his head, "(Y/N)? Why don't we all have a tea party since we have all of these beautiful dishes they brought?" Not noticing the sharp gasps and grimaces of absolute horror on the other's faces, the (H/C) rapidly clapped her hands like a happy seal who just realized it was dinner time and jumped up and down on her tippy toes, "OH MY- THAT'S A WONDERFUL IDEA LAW!!" Not being able to calm herself down she briefly tackle hugged the raven and gave him a sweet kiss on the corner of his lips before practically diving into the dining room like a racing carriage.

Soon the sound of a certain redhead cussing up a storm filled the room on the other side of the door, followed by (Y/N) loudly giving him...or maybe begging with him using weak, polite orders to start helping her bake.

(Y/N) widely grinned as everyone happily dug into her homemade macaroons, pies and cakes, although she quickly learned that Law turned up his nose at every baked good found on his plate, she also discovered he had a certain weakness for her newest try at making sorbet.

Another thing she realized was how fast they ate, if she didn't know any better she would have believed they were starving orphans...which they kinda were, (Y/N) blinked for a second and swore she saw the fabled king Arthur and all of his knights of the round table preying on a long awaited feast after a long fruitful adventure from past the horizon, the thought brought a rosy tinge to her cheeks and made her smile before the baby on her lap began to whine.

Killer waved his arms in the air and tried to get a grip onto the spoon of sorbet in her hand, but (Y/N) always made sure to keep it away from him and cooed down at the blond ball of cuteness, "aww, you want some more of my sorbet huh?" With an eager nod, the blond began to excitedly babble in gibberish before squealing in delight as she brought the hearty spoonful to his lips while she also attentively rocked him in her lap, his cheeks matched the color of roses as the flavourful taste of tropical fruits he's never known before melted on his tongue.

While she continued to gush and feed him, the other kids would occasionally look towards the infant in envy before returning to their delicious meal, "(Y/N) this is super yummy! You and Kiddy make a good cooking combo!" Urouge gushed, Kidd only chuckled beside her dispite not joining in on drinking the 'cat-lap' as he oh so put it, while Law unconsciously snaked his arm around her shoulders and cuddled closer to her.

Never has he seen such a wonderful sight, all of the siblings were actually eating without any playful violence or anyone storming off, the table for once was just laughs, smiles and scarfing down as much food as possible, but then everyone paused as the large grandfather clock loudly rang signaling the beginning of late evening.
