Prince Sherlock Holmes

I was about to go downstairs towards the dungeons when I turned and something outside caught my eye. I was staring out of the window and saw something red move then as I focused on the object I saw that it was a red cape.

There was a boy downstairs with two horses, he was blonde and wore a red cape... I have never seen him before and I think I do not recognise him from anywhere. He must be a nobleman or something then I saw as the doors of the castle opened and the terrifying Princess Irene appeared smiling at the blonde boy. I was curious because I have never seen Irene the Scary Princess smile like that with anyone or to anyone in the matter.

I stared at the blonde boy and Princess Irene having a conversation and then they rode their horses to the castle's gate. I looked at them until they were far away disappearing from view riding away on their horses.

I shook my head and took the Belladonna and left my chambers in the direction towards the castle's dungeons.

I was tired of everything my life, family and the worst of all having to hide the only thing I liked about me, that I had magic. I was born this way, I have had magic since I have memory, my mother found out by accident.

I was four when I used my magic for the first time I was trying to reach a high shelf where Mycroft had hidden my favourite toy at the time. I was trying to get it when suddenly a large crystal base fell from the same shelf as I tried to reach for my toy and it almost hits me on the head. I had raised my hands over my head when I noticed the vase balancing on the edge of the shelve and when it was about to hit me the base was lunged to the other side of the room. My mother was entering the room at that exact moment and she saw the base flying to the other side of the room and crashing breaking the base into a hundred pieces.

My mother was not scared of me, but she was shocked. I remember when she told me we would play a game, I was so excited back then because my mother used to be always busy. I remember the game as if it was yesterday, she told me to go downstairs towards the music room and then hide in the room and she would look for me, just like in hide and seek but only in that room. I agreed obviously because it had been a long time since Mother had played with me. I went downstairs and hid inside the piano.

My mother came back minutes later and opened the music room door, she was there with someone else and they were whispering. I do not remember what it was about I only remember my mother's worried voice. Then the door swung close with a terrible sound and I yelped scared.

My mother opened the piano and saw me trembling, she had smiled at me fondly. That was the day of the conversation, she made me swore not to tell a living soul about my magic and not to practice it under any circumstance but I had disobeyed, when I was alone I would practice or when I felt sad.

I have not told anyone of course because when I was ten I witnessed the trial of a 'witch', she died in a bonfire, I remember her screams and how her flesh turned black and how she burned.

I spent the whole day downstairs in the dungeons, I had a small lab down there where nobody disturbed me and I was glad for that because most people were annoying and I liked to have a little peace once in a while.
