Prince Sherlock Holmes

After John left the library I stood there as Anderson when he did not understand, which was always. I finally moved after a long time of thinking and I concluded that John was right I should help.

I quickly ran to my chambers and changed into armour, my armour was made of one of the strongest metals. I took my dark purple cape and then I went down to the dungeons. If I was correct and I always am then the beast will not be easy to kill I will require a weapon more powerful than the normal ones so I began to brew.

I had all the ingredients for the potion of the book I found not too long ago, this particular potion caught my eye. The potion was a challenge but it will be ready in an hour or less, it was in the book I found two months ago. The potion name was Draught of Fire it was a potion that is for weaponry, if you use the potion on a sword then the effect will be that the sword will burn down your enemy and in this case, I think arrows would be the best choice. The potion was not too hard but it required precision and the result was a golden liquid thick as molten metal

I finished the potion and dipped three arrows into the potion. When I had the arrows I took my horse and left the castle and went looking for the beast. I rode my horse as I never have, I actually felt like I was going to fall any minute now but I had a mission so I was determined to arrive.

I arrived at the old windmill to see some of the bravest of our knights dead on the ground, it was silent. The air smelled like metal, water and grains. I was about to head inside the windmill when I saw John's cape disappear behind the windmill. I followed him and then I found myself in front of an angry John Watson.

"John" I said when John repaired on my presence

"Sherlock? What by Hades are you doing here!?" John asked not looking at me but looking out for the beast

"I came to help of course and do not look at me like that I was going to come but you did not let me finish" I said stubbornly and crossed my arms over my chest to prove a point

"Sorry for that, I have quite a temper" John admitted a little bit embarrassed

"I noticed" I let John know and smirked

Out of nowhere the Manticore appeared and stopped in front of us and looked at us. The beast passed John and lunged at me making me fly backwards because it hit me with its tail across the chest. I fell on my back with a large amount of pain and I think I might have a large horrible bruise. I tried to stand up but I felt weak so I stayed on the ground. After the Manticore sent me flying backwards it ignored me completely and went after John. John went also flying backwards and then there was silence, I figured out John was unconscious so with all the strength I had left I got up and took a potioned arrow aiming at the manticore with my bow. The manticore was standing next to John's unconscious form on the ground and the Manticore seemed to be guarding him or watching him which was odd because he was knocked out.

I aimed to kill the manticore, I aimed to the throat or more precisely to the carotid artery. I fired and then the Manticore seemed to notice me... good, I hate to be ignored. Although in this situation I wished the Manticore did not notice me because for a wrong calculation I failed to hit the beast with the arrow and now it was coming towards me with a murderous look.
