I was sitting on the couch, on the phone, when I saw the mailbox flip shut. I ran out the door pretty fast, I was expecting some mail.

Once I got to the mailbox and got the letter I was hoping for I ran back in the house.

"Wyatt! The mails here!" I yelled upstairs to my brother. Twin brother.

He didn't respond but I heard him coming back down. It sounded like he was on the phone talking to someone.

I heard him more clearly once he got into the kitchen, where I was standing.

"Okay sounds good, see you in five," he hung up.

"Anything for me?" He finished, reaching for the mail in my hands. I grabbed my letter out and gave the rest to him.

"Maybe.." I smirked. We got our report cards. I knew he forgot. It was now summer and thats the last thing on someone like Wyatt's mind.

" All A's, how about you?" I said as I put the card on the refrigerator.

I only heard him mumble something under the category of 'crap'

I was about to head back upstairs when I heard the front door slam shut.

"One, "

Wyatt grinned at me. "Two,"

"Three." I finished, awaiting
the entrance of-

"What up Oleffs, Hey y/n! Oh guess what Wyatt your not gonna believe what happened yesterday at Fi-" Jack, one of the four boys my brother always hangs out with. I don't mind them, their my age, but sometimes they get annoying.

Wyatt's group consisted of him, Finn, Jaeden, and Jack. He of course had more friends but this was the everyday group of geeks.

Before I could blink, the rest of Wyatt's friends flowed into the kitchen after Jack.

"What up y/n," Finn said looking at me, smiling and grinning as usual. At the same time he high-fived Wyatt.

I smiled back and then turned from going upstairs, because I wouldn't make it up there with all of the guys over. They like to bother me just as much as Wyatt.

I sat down on the stairs, which faced into the kitchen. Jack and Wyatt were sitting at the table while Finn stood beside the table. Jaeden just walked in he glanced over at me and smiled. I smiled back. He was one of the nicest guys I've ever met.

" So as I was saying, " Jack interrupted my thoughts.

Jaeden came over and sat down beside me on the stairs.

"The fair is coming to town and I think as for the beginning of summer, well, I think we should all go." Jack finished proudly. He glanced around at everyone.

"Sounds good to me," Finn stated earning a nod from Wyatt.

Wyatt turned to me and also to Jaeden who was still sitting beside me.

"I'm in," Jaeden said and then turned to me, now all eyes were looking at me.

"Well.... of course I'll go!" I said to ease all their impatient faces.

They all smiled and continued small talk. I turned around and walked upstairs to my room. Time to get ready. Time to begin summer.

side note: the beginning of the story was inspired by 'two years' :)
