Jaeden had taken me to the movies. Your average first date. Afterward we stopped at an ice cream place. We got a milkshake to share. We got it to go.

We were now walking home from in town where we previously were. The sun was setting and the only remaining light was the street lamps and the bright full moon.

Jaeden and I were still holding hands. I was carrying our milkshake in the other.

"One last stop," he smirked.

"I can't wait," I smiled.

We were turning on our street, Us, including Jack and Finn had all lived at the end of the cul-de-sac.

We were coming onto the park next to us. Jaeden turned from heading straight and lead us to the bench we had sat on before. Facing the same playground we played on as we were kids.

We sat down and he smiled at me.

" I really had a lot of fun tonight,"

" So did I.Thank you for everything, J."

" No problem, Darling."

We talked for a bit, and Jaeden and I slid down the slide and swung a few times. After a while we came and sat back down on the bench.

I felt him lean in and I felt myself lean forward too. Then, I felt his warm lips against mine. It felt so good again.

We hadn't shared a real kiss since our first one. He every once in a while would kiss me on the cheek.

He's so adorable. He doesn't overdo anything. He waits, takes his time, and does everything perfectly.

The kiss quickly got heated after a few minutes. Our lips moving in sync. He had his arms snaked around my waist, pulling me closer to him. I put my hands in his hair. Occasionally pulling it from the pleasing feeling. He smiled into the kiss every time. Making me smile too.

With us, it was never too much. I guess I could say it's better to fall in love with your best friend.

Once it got a little later we decided we should get home. He walked me to the porch. I quickly turned and kissed him right on the lips before he could say anything. I pulled away and smiled.

" How was that for a goodnight kiss?" I smirked.

He smiled and giggled. " Just Perfect. Goodnight Darling." He kissed me on the cheek, slowly, making it last.

He then left and went to his house. I opened the front door and shut it behind me.

I leaned onto it and heavily breathed out, sighing. I let everything that had just happened tonight sync in. I was still high on love from Jaeden.

I heard a sigh mocking the one I just made. I glanced up and looked in the living room to see Jack, Finn, and Wyatt all on the couch looking at me.

"Wow he must have kissed you goodnight," Jack sighed.

Finn interrupted. " No Jaeden just knows the ways." He nodded his head winking at me. Oh...

Wyatt just face palmed himself again, Sighing.

I did the same and headed upstairs to my room.

"Goodnight." was the last words I spoke before heading to my warm bed for the night.
