❁I quickly fixed my skirt. I usually don't wear dresses and skirts but I had to dress up somewhat. It was a date for goodness sakes!
I heard Wyatt and Jaeden talking downstairs. I don't really think Wyatt knew Jaeden and I were going on a date but he did know we were going out and I had a skirt on. He's a boy with no common sense, he won't know. Nor would he care.
I slowly walked down the stairs. My sandals clapping against my foot as I walked. I came around the corner and saw the boys standing in the living room.
I immediately saw Jaeden blush bright red and saw him scratching the back of his head. He looked like he was going to say something but stopped himself.
Wyatt looked at me and smacked himself in the head. "Oh no, no..." here we go...
" my sister is not going to go out dressed like that. Oh no." He shook his head side to side. I giggled.
" Shut it noodles. I'm fine!" I laughed at him. I grabbed Jaeden's sleeve and pulled him towards the door.
"Let's get out while we can," I whispered to him. He smiled and giggled in response.
Wyatt came running up to the front door as I was about to shut it. He stopped it with his hand. He glanced at Jaeden and looked towards me, in a secretive way. " and don't think I don't know this is a date," he shut the door.
Jaeden and I continued to walk off the porch when the door opened again. Before I could think someone flashed a camera light at us.
"Get in the house Wyatt!" I yelled.
I heard the door shut for good this time.
Jaeden laughed and intertwined my hand with his.
" You look stunning." He blushed.
" Thank you, J. You look very handsome." I giggled and smiled at his cuteness.
He smiled at me. He was about to say something else when he was interrupted by a whistle.
I glanced over, sitting on the porch across the road, sat Jack and Finn. This was also known as Jack's house.
"Well, Well, Well. You too clean up nice." Finn said. Jack held binoculars in his hand. He hurriedly hid them behind his back. Well...
Jaeden and I continued walking down the street. Him leading the way since I didn't know where we were going. "Thanks Finn. I wish I could say he same." I sarcastically said.
He smiled thinking I was gonna compliment him back. Then after he realized what I had said he sat back in his chair, laughing to shake it off.
Next up was Jacks comments. Which I was expecting.
" Have fun kids. Oh and Jaeden remember to kiss her goodnight. Girls love that type of stuff.." he gave a thumbs up in Jaeden's direction.
" How would you know what girls like? I don't think I've ever seen you on a date." Jaeden roasted Jack. Jack had the same reaction as Finn did when I roasted him.
Jaeden and I kept walking down the road, still holding hands. This day wasn't turning out bad at all.
