Before I knew it the next weekend had rolled around and I had my plans with my friends.

Today I was meeting up with my friend from school, Grace. She was great to be around and would always make you laugh. I honestly missed seeing her everyday. He only problem I had with her is that she flirted with everyone and she was a drama magnet.

But it's summer, I figured why not? She can't start that much drama out of school.

I told her I would meet her at noon at the local coffee shop. It was 11:30am now and I was just turning off my straightener, I just used.

I was wearing a casual outfit with my converse.

I headed downstairs into the kitchen where my mom was sitting on her computer.

"Hey can you drop me off at the café?"

She glanced up. "Sure. Are you ready now?"

I looked down at my outfit. "Yeah."

She turned off her computer and I walked out the front door. I stood by the car waiting for her and she came out a few minutes later.

The cafe would be about 10 minutes away.

When I got inside my mom drove back home. I told her I would text her when I needed picked up.

I stepped through the door and heard the bell ding. I glanced around and saw Graces' light blonde hair. She was already sitting down at a small table near the window.

I saw she was wearing a dress. I slightly giggled because this was her usual.

I went to the table and sat down. Surprising her.

"y/n! Gosh I'm glad to see you!" She smiled.

The window made her bright blue eyes shine brighter than usual.

I smiled back. " Same to you! How's your summer been so far?"

She thought for a moment. "Pretty good I'm going on vacation in a few weeks. Other than that I've just been working on my tan."

I giggled.

"What about you?" She finished.

Just when I was getting ready to speak a women also known as the waiter came over.
"Would you girls like anything?"

I nodded my head " an iced tea please."

Grace nodded after. "I'll have the same!"

The waiter left and we continued talking.

I finished what I was earlier about to say. "Well..."

She interrupted. "It's a boy isn't it!"

I blushed and nodded my head.

"Jaeden actually." I smiled.

She gasped and started talking.  "I always knew there was something there,"

I replied thinking of him. "Yeah.."

"So is it serious or is it just like a summer fling?" She questioned.

I was about to answer when I cut my self off by thinking of what it actually was.

The waiter came by and sat down our drinks. We both Thanked the woman and took a sip.

"Well I think it's serious. Let me put it this way, He's my best friend and I don't think we want to ruin that. And if it's not than I guess we just really like each other. " I giggled.

She grinned. "You never know what can happen.."

"Yeah your right." I smiled.

"So I've been wanting to ask you. There's a party tonight at Millie's house. I want to go and I want you to come with me. I can't go alone." She pleaded.

I thought for a moment. What else did I have planned?

"Sure sounds good. Who's all gonna be there?"

She thought for a moment. "Just people from school. Just a small get together for the summer."

I smiled. "Okay do you want me to meet you there? What time?"

" Good idea I'll meet you there at 7:00pm." She smiled taking a sip of her drink, I did the same.

We continued talking for a while until I decided to ask my mom to pick me up. It was going on two o'clock.
