As soon as I got to Dylan's room I regretted coming down here. What would he think seeing me here? What if he's with another girl? I realized I was lost in my thoughts of 'what ifs' when my phone vibrated. It was Austin, of course.

From: Austin(:

I know you're down at Dylan's room. I'm not stupid....

Go for it he really likes you.

I guess Austin was right. The worst Dylan could do was reject me.

To: Austin(:

How did you know?... But thanks I'll see you later.

'just do it, just knock.' I told myself right before the door opened. "oh! You scared me." Dylan said as he closed the door behind him and walked up to me. "s-sorry. I was just coming down to see if you wanted to hangout for a while." I instantly felt my face get red as he smiled and said "sure. I'm in the mood for some ice cream anyways." okay I didn't completely lie to becka.

-------------------

"I'll take a cup of pistachio and she'll have a caramel twist on a cone." I heard him order while I took a seat at one of the booths near the windows. "here ya go, jas." he said as he handed me my ice cream. He was absolutely adorable, I don't know why we ever hated eachother. "thanks. So, um.. Why did we ever yano, not get along?" he looked at me with his eyebrows furrowed. "i don't really know. I guess we never really got to know eachother." he said before putting a big spoonful of ice cream in his mouth. I couldn't help but giggle, his cheeks looked so chubby because of the ice cream. "what are you laughing at?" he pouted a bit. "oh nothing, besides the fact that you look like a chipmunk." this time I couldn't contain my laugher. "a cute chipmunk, right?" Dylan winked at me before laughing as hard as me. "yeah su-" I was cutoff by none other than Becka. "hey guys!" she smiled as she had me scoot over. "Dylan this is Austin's cousin Becka, Becka this is my errm.... Friend Dylan." why? Why did she have to be here? I was having so much fun. I could tell Dylan was as uncomfortable as me "uh, hi." he scooped more ice cream into his moth which caused me to giggle some more. "I better get going.." I told them after I got up and walked towards the door.

I practically skipped back to my hotel room. That was the best 30 minutes of my life. I think I'm starting to like him.. He's nice, funny, cute, talented.. But he was Austin's friend, what if I ended up dating Dylan but then we broke up? It would be awkward. Plus Austin would have to choose who to hang out with. I couldn't do that to him. Most of all I couldn't ruin mine and Dylan's new friendship.

My phone vibrated, interrupting my thoughts.

From: Dyl

Sorry about earlier maybe we could hang out tomorrow? Lunch maybe?

Did he just ask me out?

To: Dyl

Yeah, meet me at my room tomorrow at 1:30.

I replied with a huge grin just as I walked into my room.
