I don't want to die yet. I don't want to be beaten until I die. I don't want to die alone. I just don't want to die yet; it's not my time! I looked at Serin in horror. "You can't! Please don't, I'll do anything!" I pleaded for my life.
Then again, why am I pleading? I'm just pleading for more years of actual torture. More years of days like the days I have now. I don't know if pleading is actually worth it; I don't know if my life is actually worth it.
Serin stood up and wobbled over to us(Me and Dakota if you forgot), and Dakota pushed me behind him protectively. Serin just smirked and stopped, "Anything? I've got a few things in mind for anything. You'll take great pleasure in them...if you know what I mean."
My eyes widen. Widen the size of the moon on a full moon night. No, they widen the size of Jupiter! He wouldn't...but he would. He would every bit of it, that sick bassfunk!
What Serin said earned a growl from Dakota, "Don't you go near her or touch her, or I swear I'll kill you. I'll rip you limb by limb until there is nothing left of you. I swear to the moon, thats a promise." He said deathly calm, and I knew he meant ever single word that threat carried.
Serin smirked, "Oh, so you wanted to be the first one to fuck her? Too bad, cause I'll be the one touching her everywhere." Dakota's eyes flashed red I swore, before grabbing Serin by the collar and punched him in the face. "Don't you ever talk to or about her like that." He growled before wrapping his muscled arm around my waist, leading me away from a fuming devil.
I closed my eyes and realized something. Poppy! "Dakota! Where's Poppy?! Where is she?!" I started to freak.
I'm so protective of her, and she's the same with me. We're like sisters. Once we were playing on the playground, and one of us came up with the idea to promise that we'll never leave each other. We both happily agreed, I mean, why wouldn't we? We still have that promise to this very day.
Dakota look down at me and smiled gently, " I'm so glad you care so much, you make a great lu-" he stopped himself. Lu-? What does that mean? Lunatic? Luminous? Lumpy? I think it's lumindonkerous. Definitely.
"I mean, she's went home to rest. So you're pretty much stuck with me the rest of the day." He grinned like he won a pony. Great. Stuck with a bad boy. I'm so over-joyed I might just die.
I simply nodded, and the bell rang saying 'get your little teenage butts to torture class' making me leave and go on with my life.
I sat in all my classes thinking about what Serin said. What will he do to me? Is he serious? Was he just playing a crude joke? What if I escaped? All those questions and then some whirled in my head like a evil tornado, making it impossible to work and think.
Then the bell that dismissed us from this soul sucking pit rang, laughing that I have to face the answers to all my questions. I don't want to know! I want a normal life! I want to know I'm safe!
I grabbed my bag and started my trek to the place I will die.
I don't want to die yet.
