The howls and barks kept getting closer and closer and closer and closer. Walker shot up, picked me up, and bolted towards the door to escape.
We never made it.
We were literally two or three meters from the door when a guy maybe in his twenties, stepped in front of us. He was big like muscular big, but not as big as Dakota. A pale scar stretched down his face like a snake. His eyes were red and glowing with thirst for blood, and he was looking straight at me. He was hungry for my blood.
Doo doo.
Creepo licked his lips, "Give us the savior, and nobody will get hurt. Or in your case die." He took a step closer to us and Walker growled threateningly switching his eyes to red.
"Ah, you're a rouge as well. Well this should be simple. Give us the girl and we'll let you have a portion of her body when we sacrifice her." He offered.
I let out a slight whimper. Why would I let out a whimper? It's because I very descriptive imagination, and sometimes it's a curse; like worst than sleeping beauty's curse. She had it made, sleeping for one hundred years. Yeah, she got it easy.
"Over my dead body!" Walker growled and tightened his hold on me. Creepo sighed, "Well, if that's what you wish. Attack!" He shouted and wolves flooded through the doorway and did exactly what he said. They fudgin attacked!
Why couldn't they be like untrained dogs and not do what their told? Where's a rolled up newspaper when you need one? These questions need to be answered! Why are caterpillars so squishy?! Oops, wrong question. Don't answer that one.
One leaped at Walker, and he had to drop me (on my butt of course) to swat it away. They kept swarming him, and soon they became too many. I mean, one bad bloodthirsty wolf is already too many but...you get what I mean.
Walker yelled as one ripped into his leg, and it made my heart hurt even more. "STOP YOU STUPID MUTTS!" I screamed capturing their full attention on me. Oops...
"What is it, Pilla? You don't like it when we do this?" Creepo smiled and waved his arm. A wolf bit into Walker's arm, and I lost it. My composure went to Antartica to chill for a bit.
Red clouded my vision, and I felt a painful hum in my bones. Lune took control and let out a full on growl daring them to do it again, and one actually growled back at me ever thought I was at least a foot taller than him.
Lune lunged at him and ripped his neck open killing him slowly. "Was that necessary?" I asked her. Yes. She answered simply before ripping another one apart. We were so busy killing them we didn't notice Creepo pull out a gun.
"Kill one more and I shoot him. Now shift!" Lune whimpered but shifted all the same. I gasped as I realized I naked.
Creepo walked up to me, "Hmm, you are a pretty girl. Maybe we can have some fun before I take you back." He smirked as he ran his fingers around my stomach, causing me to shiver in disgust.
"Pilla!" Walker shouts weakly and tries to stand, but he fell back down with a cry of pain. This is killing him that he can't save me, I know it.
I closed my eyes in defeat feeling drained, when I heard most life wondering sound (life wondering will prevail!)
"GET YOUR BASTURD HANDS OFF MY MATE!"
Wolves were flung through the air without mercy, and all I could do was stare in awe at a very mad, strong, sexy (shh, I didn't say that) Dakota. His eyes were pitch black with his red ring that showed nothing but determination and pure anger...wow. He was breathtaking.
That's our mate. He is so hot! You should let him mark you. Lune suggested in my head. What in hunger games is marking?! Oh. My. Golly! Does that mean Dakota has to pee on me?! Eww, gross!
Apple, Banana, and two other wolves attacked the rouges killing them. Soon, all the rouges were gone, because they ran out or were simply killed.
A ragged breath snapped me out of my thoughts, "This won't be the last time you see me, Pilla. Oh, and I have a little surprise being sent to you soon so watch out." Creepo yelled before darting out the doorway.
"Pilla?" I heard my name muttered weakly. Walker! How could I forget?! I'm a horrible thing of a person...
I rushed over to his side and held his hand with tears falling freely. "Wacko, you're going to be ok. I'll fix this." He looked at me weakly and I could see the spark behind his eyes slowly go out. "You can't fix this Pillow. At least I'll die knowing that you found happiness." He smiled sadly and closed his eyes.
"I'm not losing you!" I said determined and broken. Tears rained out of my eyes, and I felt everybody crowd around us not saying anything but bowed their heads in respect. He's not gone yet.
I won't let him.
Dakota put his hand on my shoulder trying to pull me away, but I wouldn't budge. It just made me hold on harder; like if I hold on enough he'll hold on too.
Walker is dying and it's all my fault! He dying because he had to protect me! Memories flooded my mind about all the up and downs we had, and all I could see was Walker's bloody and barely breathing body in front of me.
Warmth and electricity spread through my body and into his hand, making it glow gold. I didn't care though... I'm losing my best friend and it's all my fault. My sobs echoed the library, and the warmth just grew until it felt like fire.
Then it stopped.
I couldn't seem to stop crying though, my heart felt like it was losing another piece to it; a big piece too.
"Pillow, I think my hand lost circulation."
